Good luck with your new Ram. I loved mine and will definitely miss it. If you bought one w/the 3.6L V6 you shouldn't do too bad on fuel economy, mine could easily pull in excess of 24 mpg so long as I kept the speed below 70 mph.

If have a rear facing car seat installed in the center seat and with my wife seated next to our baby it’s pretty tight fit for her. Also the rear facing seat restricts any reclining of the drivers seat, making driving a little uncomfortable for me, I’m only 5’9”.Is this a sign that I should consider something bigger? I've been looking at F-150's and Silverado's because I've been worried about this exact thing with passengers being comfortable on trips.
Thanks. I got the V8 and on the highway it’s getting around 22 MPG at 65 MPH so far.Good luck with your new Ram. I loved mine and will definitely miss it. Granger(ford) also sells Mopar. I'm sure they have Mopar warranty. You might want to contact them. I had a lifetime warranty but did not have a chance to use it. I bought it online from Zeigler. It was a smooth transaction. I had bad experiences with my local dealer when I moved. I decided to get rid of the car because of low mpg, lag of safety tech, bad dealer experience, low payload, and the gigantic size. It was a 2017 off-road version. Thanks! Yes, I'm looking at different warranty options now.
We will have both,I love my ram,and my wife's maverick will be here in 3 weeks.will be interesting to compare the two.Well… it’s been a very nice ride with you guys. Thank you for allowing me to share my experiences with this mighty little truck! This is my last post on this forum, for as my Maverick has been traded in.My family has grown and unfortunately the baby car seat just doesn’t fit well with other passengers. So I have upsized to a new Ram 1500 Laramie 4X4. My mighty Maverick Hybrid impressed us with 52 MPGs trips and 700 miles plus of range! The Ram on the other end will be lucky to deliver 20 MPGs
… but my family will be comfortable during long trips. I appreciate the advice I was able to find on this forum and wish you all happy Maverick trails! Semper Fi!

I’ve had two Ram’s in my life and liked both of them. Best of luck with yours.A man has to do what a man has to do.
I've had my Mav for a year and family of 5 ride in it comfortably. 17 month old has been in the middle in a rear facing baby seat and now a rear facing car seat. 9 & 12 yr olds on the sides. Is this a sign that I should consider something bigger? I've been looking at F-150's and Silverado's because I've been worried about this exact thing with passengers being comfortable on trips.
Congratulations on the new family member! Just remember they grow fast and will be gone before you know it. Enjoy the years to come and remember someday you will be able to drive whatever you want. I just got my Mustang back now that my little granddaughter is old enough to get herself into and out of the backseat. Had to change from the Mustang to an SUV for several years. I really missed the Mustang, but it was worth it!Well… it’s been a very nice ride with you guys. Thank you for allowing me to share my experiences with this mighty little truck! A 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan was our first minivan when our first child was born. After years of repetitive problems that kept leaving my wife stranded and that the dealer did not seam to be able to fix we opted to trade it in on a 2011 Toyota Sienna. The best decision we ever made and It was trouble free until the we traded if for a 2015 Honda Accord hybrid when we no longer needed the extra space for the kids.Ha Ha Ha... I wish I still had my 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, very comfortable van! I'm not made of money either, I've just managed to save a little. The new car payments however, suck big time!
Heck, that's a pretty good deal, to trade a car seat for a $7K minivan! (Just kidding - I know what you really meant...)I think I just might be poor. I got a $7k minivan for the car seat and kept it for 7 years. No new Ram, no new Explorer limited, no new Maverick. For the life of me, no clue how people can afford all these vehicles.

Hopefully soon the full size truck will get great mileage too.
