I’ve been enjoying my 2023 Maverick Hybrid for a week and I’m loving it even more than I thought I would. One thing that has stood out is how damn cold the A/C gets in this thing. This is in Florida. The vents are powerful. Even on low, it sometime gets too cold with temperature set at 76. Granted it’s not summer yet, and I will be using it a lot. I’ve never owned a vehicle that had an A/C this cold. Anyone else agree?

Yep, noticed it too. Here in Houston I put it up to 72 on low Auto setting. Still quite cool. I imagine I'll need to adjust how it blows but it does its job for sure.

FYI if you ever notice it is not as cold it is probably time to change cabin filter!šŸ¤—

I get my Maverick Hybrid the end of this month - we'll see how it does in the Arizona heat, getting to 100 now 115 - 120 in the summer!

It's a Ford thing. They do A/C better than anyone else. Great for those Alabama summers...

That is a good thing! My truck is being built next Friday. hope to get it soon after that.
We are starting to get our 100+ days here. Usually have 60+ days over 110 every year.

Yeah setting 1 BLASTS hahaha. I was actually thinking of changing the air cabin filter to be HEPA just to reduce the amount of flow coming from setting 1 lol

AC is definitely a strong suit in Fords in general. Highly pleased with it and the controls.

when I drove the wife's 2020 Escape with dual zone temp control she would turn her side up and turn on the seat heater lol.

Iā€˜m in NE FL and it’s been pretty hot. I find myself setting the temp between 79-80 most of the time. Ford does have good AC! My ā€˜02 F250 is still blowing cold and no repairs needed.

Got my Maverick last July Hot Humid Tn. Put a few miles on it changed the oil and filter and in August went from Tn to Las Vegas NV. All the way Down interstate 40 Temps from 90 to 110 at 70 to 80 MPH set temp at 74 degrees and fan at first speed . That AC will freeze your asbestos off šŸ„¶ā˜ƒšŸ—»šŸ‘». Very cold .

Yep it’s electric driven vs EB which is belt driven. Since it’s hybrid it’s not trying to cool both engine and AC constantly which is a plus!!

I noticed today I needed to turn my temp up a bit. I drive my old KIA hybrid for work four days a week. That vehicle's A/C has always been fantastic.

When I first got the Maverick march of last year. I wasn't impressed with the A/C performance. Fast forward 12 months. This thing blows like the artic!

It competes well against my old hybrids electric A/C compressor! For a belt driven compressor..thats awesome! It seems to get better with age. I haven't hit 10k miles yet and closing in on 14 months of ownership.
GF just told me her Maverick hybrid has been built. Hopefully I'll get a chance to compare the two in a month or so.
