Trading in your truck/suv and buying a four door sedan is about the only way to beat this market right now.

I did the same thing today. Made 5k over what I paid 10 months and 20,000 miles ago. My 23 will be here in 3 weeks and I’ll be out of the country till then 
Was offered 40k for mine , I paid 31k still said no , I don’t need the money I’ve owned F-150’s my hole life and this is my first vehicle in 20yrs that fits in my garage. Not mad at guy’s making money but I waited 13 months and 5-10 grand extra isn’t worth it to me.

It's kinda funny, my uncle is basically flowing the other way. He owns a 2003 focus on its last legs, over 300k on it, and is highly considering a maverick. Already owns a 2009 escape hybrid with the same bulletproof 2.5 the maverick has, so he's already sold on the idea of a hybrid.
He also has a Kia van we gave him that has about 280k on it,but it's dead, timing chain failure. Apparently he drove it for 3 years with the CEl on, the light was flashing for 6 on those months. Just didn't get it checked out. Hopefully the maverick is more reliable than that car was.

I got a June build date for my EB. I decided to see what my Hybrid XL was worth now - was offered 9k more than what I paid. Mk1 Focus, best car I've owned, manual trans even had manual windows, most comfortable seats, 6 - 8 hour drives no problem. Didn't like the new Focus went Mazda instead.Bought a one owner 2004 Ford Focus for $2450. I'm going to save this money for a rainy day.

Ron, I totally agree - one of biggest assets to Maverick is fitting in garage!! No more "big butt trucks"! Ford should market it as Garageability
