Ford Maverick Does Ford Motor Company really follow-up with you after posting here? ford


Out of the 1000 or so of you that have been contacted by Ford Motor Company here, how many have had a productive follow-up? My brother-in-law was contacted on another similar forum for the Mach-E, and was promised help in finding a part that is holding up the repair of his vehicle (over 4 months in the shop). Should he hold his breath or not?

They put me in touch with Ford Customer Care or whatever it is called. They said they would follow up with me after I visited the dealer for the problem. At least for me, they did make me "feel" like Ford cared. Whether or not they actually get anything done if things do not work out with the dealer is another question but I give them an A for trying to make me "feel" better but, I would not expect Ford engineers to rush to your address your problem or for them to help expedite parts. More of a hand holding experience, at least for me so far.

I got a couple of contacts with all of the hybrid brake TSB posts but nothing with teeth. They basically said "ok make an appointment with your dealership". Well duh, I didn't need a 1-800-number to tell me that. Did they have any hand in the outcome? Don't know. Brakes still not fixed. Knowing some faceless person at a phone bank somewhere has my back did make me feel like at least a small effort was being made though FWIW.

I will say this this. My 2023 XLT was destroyed in a train derailment a few weeks ago. The dealer knows nothing and Ford Corporate doesn't have a frigging clue what is to happen to me. So I wouldn't hold your breath. And by the way my window sticker is no longer available to view. So I guess I don't exists any more.

Posted here about hybrid deep sleep issue. Contacted by Ford, they arranged appt with my dealer and a loaner. Dealer had my Mav for 9 days. Ford followed up after I got it back. If I hadn't posted here and if Ford wasn't monitoring this forum, I think I would still be having problems because dealers either don't have a clue or don't care.

My Mav was in a derailment and totaled I have contacted the dealer , salesperson and ford site and I’ve heard nothing no follow at all so alls that’s happened was I lost my deposit.

Not, me, I presented a few issues I have with a local dealer and the issue I had back in July of 22 with my Maverick and nothing...
