I have a question. Often a complaint will be posted about some sort of Maverick malfunction, and the "Ford Motor Company - Official Ford Account" user will chime in with something like "Will you please PM me your VIN and dealer information and I'll help you out"

My question is, is this official Ford Motor Company user actually then doing anything about helping solve the problem, or is the offer to help just public PR and then behind the scenes they're not actually contributing to resolving the problem? Hoping the former. Just curious.

I got a call from someone at Ford, she asked if I took my truck in. She also told me my complaint will be looked at by someone. Who knows if they really do anything.....

I got some help from customer service. They coordinated a meeting between my dealer and the engineering team and somehow sorted out my deep sleep problem. And for my trouble they gave me an extension on my power train warranty.

I was contacted about my radio. They facilitated a call to resolve the problem. I received the call while at work. I called back and left a message and didn't get a return to my message. I recontacted the contact here and a second call to resolve my issue was setup. That call resulted in a meeting with a specific rep from a local dealer who what a no show for our meeting. Crickets since. I wouldn't be too optimistic.

they reached out to me about my broken seat (there's a post on here about it) and asked for more information. i also received a phone call that afternoon with some information, and a claim number. i gavve my service writer that claim number when i went in for work and things were handled within a day. i have no idea how much FoMoCo helped or not.

They hire stay at home people and there just PR one of the people I spoke to was trying to get the baby to stop crying I waited 8 months for a maverick. Train derails totals my veh. My dealer was not helpful I always had to text or email to get up dates Ford never helped or called or emailed so I just threw in the towel. Dealer or Ford did nothing to help me so be weary of the BS they spew. so here I am 9 months later no truck

It's rather unfortunate, but, I think as someone indicated the probably do have work at home people trying to handle some of the issues. I deal with this even working in a dealership too. I also imagine that they aren't handle a few concerns, but juggling many. Some probably do really care about resolving your problem, some probably don't know how to, or have too much to manage. I also suspect that some of the means to address customer concerns are poorly set up or just superficial in their ability to actually produce results. But it's my opinion from the experiences I have had. On a few matters I've encountered, I've actually been able to have my concerns addressed by upper management and found them to be both informative and actually helpful; but it doesn't seem to always extend down to the base level you normally working with.
