I guess remove them so there is confusion on what is going on. I appreciate you showing them to me though.
No worries at all! Eager to see your completed build.

Looking good! What size MDF did you use? Also how do you remove the bottom seat? I’m working on my box now and might need to remove the bottom seat to get the box in.

The top and port side is 3/4 MDF, the port is made from 1/2 MDF. I will have to get some pics of how to remove bottom seat.

Quick how to.

There are bolts on the side and then you have to remove the wire cord barrel.

I'm definitely loving this more then doing the A pillar, how is the sound stage? I like the fact they are actually pointing towards the listener and not bouncing anywhere

The sound stage is pretty good. You do have reflections like anything mounted on in the pillars. I am happy with pods we built in about 4 hours complete with paint. Pillars may sound better as long as you have the driver and passenger pillars pointed directly at each other.

The only way on top of the dash area to get ride of some of the reflections is to recess the drivers back from the front grill and cover the inside in some foam. Which is what I am working on right now with my Civic with KEF drivers on the dash.

This is not a competition SQ install, I wanted something I could change like pods if I wanted to. I also did not have to cut up anything to make these.

I competed in all the SQ organizations for years. If you are wanting to build something on that caliber send me a PM I will give some ideas on what would have to be done if doing something on the dash but be ready to modify and do a lot of work.

The system is done I will get some completed pics up in next couple days, spent all day today ceramic coating the truck.

Possibly a dumb suggestion, but have you considered a dash mat to absorb reflections? I wouldn't use one with the stock dash tweeters, but since you're using pods it could be beneficial.

Yes a dashmat is already on the way to see if it will help.

I'm definitely not going for SQ competition with this, definitely don't want to spend that type of money or do that much modification either. I just love the best sound I can get, I need to redo my tune in all honesty, but I'm waiting to do that for when I finish installing all my sound deadening and insulation along with my subs.
But I love how simple and good your 3way looks and looks like modification then I was thinking so now that's a huge possibility as well lol. You did a badass job on those.

Now only if someone could model those pods in 3D and sell them from a 3D printer! I know I would like a pair if the price was reasonable.
