Where did you hide your Airtag, Smart Tag, etc in your Maverick?

Do you lose your Maverick frequently? It's a large, easy to locate object.

Had to laugh. I had a bud that would loose his car on occasion. The last time it happened it was actually stolen. He found it 2 years later.

Will Ford Pass work overseas? Airtag and Smart Tag can work worldwide. So, I can track my stolen Maverick in Afghanistan with a .50 Cal mounted in the bed...lol

The AirTag has limitations as well. It’s not foolproof.

I have never had a vehicle stolen. Did not realize insurance company would raise my rates for having it stolen???
I don't want it back after someone goes off roading and tears the crap out of it. Maybe affecting the durability of the drivetrain. A $500 deductible small price to pay for a new vehicle.

How about take the bed cubby out and put it in there? I guess you would need a full time power access to it?

if you really want to hide it, you could put it in something water proof, take out a bed cubby, and secure it to the top of it, then reinstall the cubby.

Any application has it limitations. The Ford Pass is free and seamless. It gives me a first class piece of mind in case I have to find my truck via the app. It's also more secure than third party sites in case a hacker tries to gain entry or steal data.
