No, because I don't have it yet.

However - if I did (with my current Tremor build) I would have huge buyers remorse. I wanted a Hybrid and ordered one 10/13/2021.

Now I"ve got a $34,800 Tremor XLT ordered. It tows 2k, has 1200 lb payload, doesn't have a real front skid plate, no low gearing, gets 20/24 mpg and the interior is crap.

I ordered a 2023 Colorado Trail Boss. $42,650 - Tows 7700 lbs, payload is 1,587 lbs, 2 speed transfer case, skid plates, 19/23mpg with 430 ft lb torque, and the interior is blows the Mav out of the water.

If I could get a hybrid I would have no remorse - but I'd likely still have my Base Sasquatch too. Instead - I'm marrying the two and the Trail Boss will run circles around the Tremor doing real truck things.

I didn't pay as much as you, but just under $3500 and I am in a truck I absolutely love. I totally understand. I am 63 and last year lost so many friends and family, it taught me I have to start living! I have had nothing but company cars all my life doing Field Service work and I did not need my own car. After my Company invited me to retire it was time to sell that hard earned stock I had to order a new Maverick. I was currently on the apology email tour from Ford and got sick of waiting!
I’m so damn glad I paid $2k UNDER MSRP.

A friend who had BMWs back in the 70s bought an old one last year and really did not like it. They were fun then but don't compare to today's bikes. My Triumph looks like an old Bonny but has ABS and of course fuel injection. Also traction control and the throttle is fly by wire.
I bought a 750GS last year, love it.

They simply can't be killed.
I agree! My plan is to continue using it for work. May 2or 3 times a week. Until it dies, then open her up, fix her and keep her going lol

A little remorse for the one that got away. I bought a cactus gray hybrid XLT in October ‘22 and got 0.9% financing. I really like the truck.

A ‘23 hybrid lariat Lux w/360 assist I ordered (rolled over from a ‘22) arrived last month. The best financing I could find was 4.5%, I wasn’t going going to get the trade-in value for my XLT I’d hoped, and I didn’t like the color of the lariat (Area 51) as much as the cactus gray. I decided not to take delivery of the lariat and decided to keep the XLT. I still really like the XLT but I find myself thinking about some of the features I would have had with the lariat.
That was my fear. I originally wanted a XLT but I felt push to start was basically future proofing the car. I didn’t want to be 4 years into paying and hate I was still using a key like my 96 B3000

Damn, a trail boss is 42k!? let’s say 45k with taxes and fees. Not too bad. I will be paying 41 out the door for my EB. Sometimes I feel like I’m paying a lot… but I put every package. And my financing is 0% so at least that makes me feel better. But that 2023 Colorado is a bad ass truck!

That is my build.

You can't option heated seats or leather wrapped wheel on the TB, nor can you add a moonroof. That is for Z71 or ZR2, and it sucks.

I also cannot add a tilt/telescoping steering wheel to the TB, that would also be reserved for LT, Z71, or ZR2, that REALLY sucks. I'll just have to see if I fit properly without the telescoping wheel.

The only package I didn't put on my TB build was the technology package which adds adaptive cruise control and the HD above vehicle camera view. I'm good without either.

Otherwise the insane amount of utility gained for not a crazy amount more, plus what I consider to be a much better interior and it's a really compelling package.

Again - my $24,600 hybrid would have made this a non-starter but the $35k Tremor no longer makes sense to me.

Not bad at all!! When do they start production or when should you receive it? Hopefully nothing like the maverick 🤞🏼

Production started in January in Wentzville, MO (America, F Yeah!) and they are taking orders and delivering Colorados as we speak. I will get a chance to drive a WT trim later next week.

They expect 3-4 months for my Colorado.

Voted 'nope, all good'. I'm on my second Maverick and I actually did have a little bit of buyer's remorse about my first, which was a first edition ecoboost. It didn't have 4K towing. I should have ordered it with my FE, but I didn't.

I traded it in and made a little money, and I love my truck now. I kind of wish you could have ordered first edition in cactus grey, but honestly I am glad to not have a sunroof and the 18" wheels are better looking than the black 17s.

You guys and your modern trucks! I'm still driving my 1987 B2000 long bed. It is a rust bucket now but it still starts every time and I can hauls a ton of stuff. But manual trans and no power steering and no safety features except 3 way seat belts. I'm still not sure I will be able to get rid of it- it might live in the driveway for a while this summer.

I also have an Infiniti so if I want a nicer interior I can drive it. But it does not have a backup camera or Android Auto or any of the newest safety features.
My 1985 F150 farm truck is affectionately named "Rusty"
My 1985 Mercedes 300D Turbo (with the "Goodfellas" trunk) is still going strong
My 2010 Volvo V50 is a POS, however - sunroof leak>interior mold and rust
If I ever get my 2023 Maverick, it will be quite a shock to drive a vehicle and not need to have jumper cables, a tire gauge, and other emergency tools on board before leaving the house LOL

That’s awesome!! I wouldn’t mind the new Colorado. It’s definitely more truck than I need but still a dope truck.

that's the build that people in the Ranger 6G community are thinking will be a better value than whatever Ford has on tap.

they're pretty sure that the Ranger Raptor will be well north of $60k, packing 400+ hp and 400ish lbft torque from the 3.0 v6 twin turbo.

but if the only engine below that is the 2.3, even if it matches the Bronco, that's still 300hp / 315 lbft on premium. a huge difference in torque compared to the GM 2.7 HO. you can build a Colorado north of 55K and that won't be a good matchup to the Ranger Raptor. but in the middle, where you're at, GM looks good.

I looked at the Trail Boss, but there are a few reasons I'll be sticking with the Maverick for now:

1. Local dealers wanted $2500 nonrefundable deposits. Not happening.
2. I have 0% for 36 months. If I buy a new Colorado, I'm probably looking at 5-6% interest. Adds like 3-5k on top of the loan.

The interior will certainly be better. The Maverick plastics are pure trash.

No remorse. Ordered my XLT Hybrid in June, 2021, without seeing one or sitting in one. Finally got it in October, 2022. While waiting my driving dropped 80% due to WFH but I still somehow managed to slow down to avoid hitting a deer and was rear ended, so my car (2008 Accord, EXL, 185kmiles) was totaled.

I borrowed a friends car for a bit hoping the Mav would arrive but eventually the friend needed the car back so I bought (and overpaid) for a 2007 Accord to wait out the Maverick.

I ended up getting a decent settlement from the insurance company from the person who rear ended me so it ended up a wash financially and I traded in the Accord on the Mav.

Like the Mav so much I ordered a loaded hybrid Lariat for my wife as she needs satellite radio and push button start. She has a 2010 Lexus that has been bullet proof but she only gets 20 mpg so the hybrid will be a plus. She will lose the seats that cool but she said that is ok.

So if the 2023 ever gets built we will have 2 Mavs.
