What issues ?Not really, but I am not 100% thrilled with the entire thing. Mine's been back to the dealer 3 times (4 if you count the oil change) and I'm kind of waiting to see how things play out.
Quality issues are a concern, that said the vehicle is exactly what I hoped it would be and I like it a lot.
Bad seat belt sensor, broken rear window regulator and air bag recall. Also my bed accessory wires are dead. What issues ?
I was more referring to the folks who early on complained about how cheap the plastic is and stuff like that. Which there were a bunch of on this forum earlier on in the release cycle of the Maverick.No. The folks unhappy are the ones who have had battery and charging issues since the 780 mile mark and so far no sign of root cause.
Also Ford has literally sold like twice as many Mavericks than Hyundai has sold Santa Cruzes.I think the only reason the number of used Mavericks is higher than the SC is because of the number of people who ordered two just to get one, or were speculating on potential profits by reselling them. The SC numbers are most likely people who decided that it's not for them.
Got a great price at Granger, and coming from a 2006 Honda Element and a 1997 Ford Ranger before that, I find the ride to be pretty smooth and quiet. Great fuel economy compared to my previous rides as well.Yeah, I've had mine for almost a month now, and I'm loving it.
But I'm going from a 2011 Nissan Versa, and when adjusted for inflation, I paid almost the exact same amount for my XLT as I paid for that hatchback twelve years ago. I expected the same build quality... and got the same build quality. I think the folks who have been unhappy are those who are expecting a higher end vehicle than what they're buying.
They simply can't be killed. That’s awesome! I bought mine from a buddy of mine for $600 about 3 years ago. It needed a good amount of work, as it continues to need. But I put about 400-500 miles a week and she keeps going!
