I know that this lift and this tire size has been posted many times before but I wanted to add a few things that I don't think have been properly covered here. I've seen a few people say they installed this lift kit but didn't need an alignment. I don't know how that's possible, I brought mine in for an alignment and things were way out of spec, mostly front and rear toe specs. There was a significant amount of toe in after the lift kit was installed and the front camber was way off despite my best effort to "eyeball" it with the slotted upper knuckle bolts holes on the Rough Country struts. I doubt that my situation is abnormal so make sure you get an alignment done after installing this kit. Overall, I think that the ride feels more firm than stock. It feels more like a truck now to me. The kit was pretty difficult to install in my narrow garage with no lift, just jackstands but I'm far from a mechanic. I found a bunch of screws and bolts that were loose from the factory and managed to fix a really annoying rattle I had that I thought was coming from the dash, it was actually the screws and metal clips that hold on the cowl that were not tight from the factory. As for lift, I drove around for a couple of weeks before taking measurements to let things settle and it's exactly 2" front and rear maintaining factory rake which I'm pretty happy with.

Thanks for the info! truck looks killer with the lift and tire combo. I'm looking at the same tire size, but opting for the HRG 1.5" instead of the 2. How close is the tire to the inner fender? any rubbing?

No rub but it's pretty close, maybe a 1/4" of clearance with the pinch weld/liner at full turn.

gotcha, that's good to hear. I'll be 1/2" lower which may benefit me? not sure. I know I can get 245/65s with no trouble, but those 245/70s look so good.

Not really sure how being 1/2" lower would benefit you? I think it will actually bring the widest part of the tire closer to the pinch weld at normal ride height.

I also wanted to mention that rear camber is not adjustable and was slightly out of spec with positive camber. Unfortunately it's not adjustable from the factory so I'm going to purchase some adjustable rear camber arms and get the rear re-aligned. Something else to consider if going for a lift.

What was the issue with the tires? I've been considering those for my new wheels.

Talk about timing, I just found out yesterday that I am being provided a company vehicle for work and personal use. Already got a quote from Carvana, a little over 29k which nets me a few thousand over what I paid. I'll be reverting everything back to stock so if anyone is interested in a slightly used RC 2" strut lift kit and some LP Adventure wheels they'll be listed in the marketplace soon.
