"We are going to get together Saturday February 18th. I am going to try to get there around 11 AM. I don't really have a plan for any specific activities or anything. Just free-form meet up. If folks want to drive over to Kid Valley or Ivars for some lunch after we meet up for a bit, that is cool.

Moral of the story, if you show up a bit later in the day and don't see any trucks in the south part of the park near the picnic shelters and tennis/volleyball courts, head over to the Kidd Valley/Ivars parking lot at the north end of the park to see if folks migrated over there. It is north of the boat launches/boat trailer parking lot."

I've had my Mav for a month and 1000 miles. I've seen exactly 2 other Mavs in that time, and no one has even looked sideways at mine or asked about it. Made me wonder about how many Mavs are in Western WA. We've mentioned a meet-up here, but I was interested in knowing how many would attend. I went through this thread to see how many have posted. I made a list of all, 82 people have a post in this thread, plus a couple of "outsiders" from Portland and Indiana. If all wanted to attend, to take a line from Jaws, "We're gonna need a bigger boat parking lot!" I'm also curious as to how many Mav owners in WA are MTC members, what percentage of buyers even know about MTC?

It was indeed enjoyable to meet some fellow Maverick friends. I had mentioned to Paul (paneubert) that I'd be pleased if 10 showed up. We had 10 + 1 still waiting for his truck. As I remember, we had 2 A51, 2 HPR, 1 Velocity Blue, 2 Alto blue, 1 Cactus Grey, 1 Black, and 1 iconic silver. No white or school bus trucks. I also noticed that we were evenly split, contrary to Ford's advertising, half of us were over 60 and the other half were "youngins". We also had XL's, XLT's, and Lariats, and a mix of Hybrid and Eco. It was fun seeing the different mods that each of us had done. Kudos to those that came from a ways away, Inspiredtoo from Longview, and Dano from Gig Harbor area.

Let's do it again this summer. Do some BBQ, get a couple of bands, get Tim, the @fordvideoguy to show up, and pick a place where our 4 legged friends can join.
