  1. Cannot get A-Pillar trim to fit back correctly

BGN is correct. Remove the black clips and install them on the pillar and refit trim panel.
  2. Need tips for making the seats more comfortable

There are wedges called "Front seat jackers" that can adjust the angle of the seat to improve comfort especially since the Maverick seat lacks seat bottom front height adjust. They are pricey for what they are but its a safety related item...
  3. Realtruck swing case toolbox installed - easy to install if you use caution! How-to DIY video

Thanks for posting. Could you please take a picture of rod that goes into the latch? I picked one of these swing out cases with my Ford points, but the rod does not unlock and doesn't appear to have any cutouts to allow it to unlatch. Much appreciated!
  4. Underhood jump points don't work ...

Not trying to belittle concern, but this all sounds like user error. 1. Incorrect remote jump points used underhood. 2. NOCO and many other jump start have safety function that if voltage read is <2 volts, the jump start device will not recognize battery and not turn on. If cables are...
  5. 1UP Bike Rack w/ 4" extension to clear tailgate on my Maverick

I'm using the Kuat Pivot 2 with 1up rack. Gives the space for tailgate to open with no damage and can swing to curbside for full bed access. Great when shuttling and using a tailgate pad. Compared to the Yakima Backswing (tailgate rests on this hitch swing soft handle), Kuat Pivot sits closer...
  6. What don't you like about your Maverick?

No sunglass storage on overhead with sunroof. Wish driver's seat bottom on lariat had front height adjust. Some other minor gripes, but easily corrected with accessories i.e. no auto dim rearview mirror with homelink, tailgate dampner and wireless Carplay.
  7. What do you say to family, friends & co-workers that see you as a complete moron for putting up with this maverick debacle?

After 545 days, picked up my Maverick from dealership on Saturday. Couldn't be happier with it. Is the vehicle I wanted, and priced better than anything else. People asked about it for over a year. Ones that have seen it, give compliments. Don't get suckered into pay a markup. The wait is...

  12. ONLY Hybrid Mavericks being scheduled this week on 1/12/23!

Have the same build. Hoping for some PNW magic.
  13. ONLY Hybrid Mavericks being scheduled this week on 1/12/23!

I jest. Have waited this long for a Hybrid as that is what has made the Maverick so compelling. 40mpg with a bed. Same mileage and low maintenance of my current vehicle but with increased utility. Ecoboost has higher cost of ownership and powertrain will not last as long.
  14. It's time to upgrade the Maverick.... with more mods

Looks good. Might be worth your while to contact Ford about the 3rd brake lamp not matching the Monroney label. If it happened to your Lariat, it most likely the same on other Lariat Mavericks. Those labels are supposed to be accurate and exact. My reading of feature is the brake lamp should...
  15. Let's talk numbers. Hybrid vs Ecoboost $$,$$$

Have the Cross Climate 2 mounted on my wife's SUV. They work great in the snow and ice while being quiet and stopping well in the wet. I think this is currently the best "All Weather" tire on the market.
  16. Let's talk numbers. Hybrid vs Ecoboost $$,$$$

This article is written by a bot. Its main data point is taken from a Nerd Wallet article from 2015. Hybrids have been in market since 1997 when Toyota released the Prius. All shops work on hybrids, they are not that different and don't require a bunch of specialized tools. When I purchased...
