Gas pedal height adjustable?

We picked up our truck last week. My wife has tiny feet and noticed she has to lift her heel off the floor to get her foot on the pedal. It is causing leg fatigue. Does anyone know if the pedal is manually height adjustable?

One other potential solution might be to add an "extender" to the pedal to bring it closer to the floor for her. I've seen aftermarket "chrome pedals" and things like that, but had no interest myself, so I didn't look to see if they were any longer than the standard pedal. Just make sure the bottom of the pedal / extender clears the floor when you "floor it"...

I have seen nothing about the gas pedal being adjustable, can't imagine they are. As said get a new tread for the pedal that works for her.

I noticed something odd with the gas pedal placement since day 1 - Ordered fancy clip on pedal bling, problem solved - I actually have a set available but probably $10 to ship these days.

Moving pedal closer to floor can be dangerous or even deadly. Especially when using aftermarket floor mats and full-service car washes where someone could carelessly replace your floor mats after vacuuming. There was a tragic case in San Diego a few years ago when a family died driving a loaner from their Toyota dealer. Driver's side had floor mat that wedged pedal in fully depressed position, and they couldn't stop the car or shut off ignition. Huge lawsuit and payout resulted along with industry wide consumer warnings about using aftermarket mats that might wedge under gas pedal.

I too find the gas pedal awkward. Not all the time but occasionally front of my foot slips off the gas pedal. But I agree that rigging the gas pedal should be done with caution.

True about the danger of "stuck pedal"... That's why I included the recommendation to ensure the bottom of the pedal / extender clears the floor when you floor it statement. But I just looked at my Maverick, and it seems like the pedal is about 5" off the floor. Hard to believe someone has a foot THAT small... But if you're wearing heels (even low heels) that could create the issue, I suppose.

In retrospect, I think the best suggestion so far is "different shoes"...
