Gas pedal height— foot slips off

I looked at my gas pedal with my foot on it this morning. I was trying to visualize how someone's foot would slip off of the pedal. With my heel planted squarely on the floor my foot extends such that 1/3 covers the pedal. I don't have particularly large feet, size 9 US. No way my foot could slip off the pedal.

why not try applying the material they use on steps? Safety tape.

i never test drove my 2024 Ford Maveric XLT hybrid. Almost immediately I noticed that my foot kept slipping off the gas pedal. I’m 5’2”. I took it to Ford immediately to find a fix. I was told that it is not adjustable. It is one single metal arm that cannot be altered. Has anyone figured out anything aftermarket that is a couple inches longer? Your input would be greatly appreciated. I purchased these at Amazon. It helps a little bit, but my foot still slips off.

Been there done that...my fix were those amazon pedals and install seat jackers to the rear of the seat...
