Dad - So glad the covers I had designed worked well for you. I have been working with Ty at GadCad3d on a couple projects. Great guy. Only difference with mine is I used a 3 wire bulb so that I could have them as running lights also. I think it looks great!
Hello! I wasn't aware you were the one who designed those covers. Apologies for not crediting you . . . I didn't know. Now that I do, thank you! Great idea and they fit perfectly. I'm very happy how all turned out.

I do have the lights.
I bet without having a spray in liner, they will fit

1. thickest part (Not counting the rear of the rubber)

2. thinnest area of the rubber (between the little ridges)

3. thickness of the plastic under the rubber

I'm not going to argue with the scientific method! Most likely, you're correct since the liner would have to add a bit of thickness.

Very generous of you, Rob! I also had to order a ten pack (two wire) and would be happy to mail them to anyone who needs a couple. Mine are amber.

The good thing is that if it doesn’t work….I’m only out $10…

DAD, do you have a link for the round lights? Ordered the Orange covers, they should look good with the other orange accents on my Tremor.
By the way, the orange of the covers will look terrific with the Tremor version. Can't wait to see your final install post.

Not even that ... you might come up with an alternative method . . . after all, you've got several more chances, right?

True…
worst case, I could always put it in the cubby door or in the cubby itself….or both

hell, they are small enough, I likely could rig it on the 12v pigtail cover itself.

When you mentioned putting them in the holes in the rear of the bed, I got to thinking how difficult it might be to feed the wires over to power. At least using the 12v supply outlets provided by Ford, it's an easy route through the rear light housing. My opinion is that you would be happier with the light output using the LED strips that are made for the Maverick. Amazon . . . about $25 I believe. I have them and they light up the entire bed.

Yes, the route I was going to take was around the cubby to the tail light area to access the 12v pigtails.

I’ve thought about the LED strips, but I just wanted to try something different and if they fit the hole, I think the install would look very clean. I don’t need them to very bright since it will be mostly used under a bed cover. If they don’t work as well as I like, at least I will have the wires 90% tan for the led strips should I decide to switch to them.

Hell, I could put in a rocker type of switch and put in both.
