Dealership has 38 allocations remaining for 2023 Mavericks. They have 37 Priority 10 orders and 128 orders are Priority 11 or greater.

Please translate this for me.

So what you are saying is that your dealership took 165 orders for Maverick MY23......

But only 38 will be allocated and built??

So there is going to be 127 people who will wait literally all year and then be told "Sorry...no Maverick for you!!"

Why does your dealer have you at a 12 if you are a rollover? I'd be riding them to put you at 10.

Yes! Ride that dealer. My Maverick is almost here and I just now got my private offer to show up by calling up and stopping in multiple times.

Presumably because that's a new order from September. Model year '22 orders weren't rolled over until November.

MrKombi, did you go through the roll-over process for your '22 order, or did you cancel your '22 and order a '23?

My built maverick just got switched back to confirmed lol. It still shows the dates for each step on the VIN tracker, but the little checkdots are no longer filled in.

I came in during that tiny 9/2022 ordering window and "rolled-over" my 10/31/21 order at that time.

I am NOT a "new" 9/2022 order.

My dealership refuses to put me at Priority 10..... and keeps me at Priority 12.

My protests to the GM last Friday were treated with a dismissive "f*ck you" smile.....and no movement.

I am SOOO SOOO done with this process.

Original order 10/30/2021, auto rolled over on 9/16/2022.
2023 Lariat Hybrid, CO Pilot 360, Lux package.

Talked to my dealer last Friday, thinking I would need to change to an Ecoboost to get any action. Per the Sales Mgr, their dealership has been allotted 27 hybrids for the 2023 model year. Mine is the second oldest on that list. The oldest one was built some time back. In the list of 26 hybrid orders left, they have 7 Lariats on order. Once the allocation was determined by Ford, they took their list of hybrid orders which was much more than 27, and contacted, based on order date, anyone whose order was 28th or beyond and advised them to change their engine to an Ecoboost. According to him, he is 99.99% sure my order will be built but he just doesn't know when. Based primarily on availability of needed parts and what mix of orders they need in the factory. This certainly was encouraging news, but the waiting is still excruciating.

Like I put in post a few days ago, my salesman wouldn't change mine from a 19 to 10 but I still got scheduled, built and on a slow train to Bama. I would think you should still get scheduled soon. But we all know how this scheduling system is. So who knows. I feel for you, it sucks big time

Scheduled, pushed back multiple times and finally canceled late 2022
Re-ordered November 18, 2022 as a hybrid XL (cruise control!)
Built February 2, 2023
Shipped February 6, 2023

Ford email says ETA February 13-19.

Ford tracker says ETA February 10-23.

This is a Southern California order and I understand two weeks delivery from the factory is not unusual.

It has been 483 days since the original order.

This what I don't understand about Ford. My truck said built 1/30/23 and is a Scal order as well but is awaiting shipping. Ford is really out to lunch with how they handled this. Allowing dealers to determine what orders get build and which one die on the vine.

Picked up my Lariat Lux/CP360 last night. I have to say that South Bay Ford was great about the whole process. The $2750 price protection was deducted right away. No hard sell on the extended warranty. In fact, they gave me two years of extended service (basically oil changes and such) for the inconvenience of the long wait. The salesman was actually knowledgeable about all the features of the Lux and CP360 and patiently explained everything. Forty miles of driving and everything seems to work as advertised so far. The Alto Blue complements the interior beautifully but isn darker that the brochure pics, nearly black at night.
