Finally my23 is on it's way and will be here Feb. 03, 2023. It's been a long way since the first order on 10.23.21.

I was in contact with my dealer throughout the whole process. Each time they assured me that it's okay and that the order number from the 2nd order in September 2022 does not need to be the same as the first order in October 2021. Now, the issue is that they are not able to find the transition private offer for me. I even called Ford customer service, and one of the rep told me that the order number must be the same in order number.

I contacted my dealership, and they cannot find anything in their system under my name and said the I should have received an email from a 3rd party vendor regarding the private offer.

Since November, when I received my email that my23 was going to be built, I have made many calls to both Ford and my dealership. I am at the end of my wits, and honestly, I am exhausted. Can anyone help?

If FORD has no record of your Private Offer and your dealer has no record of your Private Offer, the dealer will need to contact their FORD inventory specialist person. According to @fordvideoguy the dealer should be able to sort this out with the inventory specialist to get the old and new orders tied together to get your Private Offer.

EDIT: Agree with barxlt - the Private Offer is not handled by a 3rd party.

Do you know if your dealer properly obtained COVP approval for your 22 Maverick? The private offer is dependent on that.

Sounds like they are just trying to make you search around elsewhere in vain. Dealers can easily obtain your certificate number (if one exists) by searching your name and address in SmartVincent.

If you had a MY22 order that was COVP'd and your dealer or FORD created a MY23 order (depending on whether you had an unscheduled/cancelled order or scheduled/cancelled order with VIN #), you should have a private offer. FORD required the MY22 order to be COVP'd to qualify. If you've contacted both FORD and the dealer and they cannot find your certificate your dealer is going to have to work with their FORD inventory specialist to sort it out.

This might have something to due with your dealer not applying the proper procedure. Just a guess on my part. As soon as I read you complaint I called Ford customer service number to see if my private offer still applied to my order. I did change my trim to a Tremor in January after waiting a year and it was scheduled the next week. I was also told that I might not now receive the private offer through all sorts of info sites. However the Ford rep. informed me that the offer is applied to my order and gave me a certificate # and a program # to forward to the dealer. And an estimated delivery date. Did you get a VIN # yet? If you did not the info my not be available. Did you do a COVP with you dealer when you put your order in? Don't give up hope you might be able to clear this up.

My Maverick is in production and the dealer can't get the private offer to show on the invoice. I told him to check all the data to see if it matches, says yes. (I hope he checked good) Well, he's got 3 weeks to work it out. Or I'll be pissed. This entire Maverick episode has been a lot of messing around for 15 months now.

The Ford rep told me the same thing about third party and I believe that's true. They probably sent out the 7000 VINs to someone to generate the certificates for them.

I had this same issue on my canceled order. They couldn't find it in the system. It turned out they had my address wrong and had my house number but the dealers city and zip. I was told the dealer can find the certificate I'm smart Vincent using the name and ZIP so maybe try a different zip code and see if they did that by mistake.
