Are these CarMax type vehicles or are you seeing used
( truly used - as in trade in vehicles) at dealerships? I have not seen many used trucks on Ford lots in my area.
Thanks for the input….
CarMax, Carvana etc., Craigslist in my area has several private party ads as well as dealers, eBay has several. Have only seen maybe 7 Mavericks driving in Portland area over the last year but more for sale than being driven apparently.
Today "used" online:
Craigslist locally= 18
CarMax= 46
Carvana= 45
Vroom= 3
Driveway= 12
Autotrader= 590

Saw four today while running to the next town over 30 miles away. Three in white and one Carbonized Grey. Prior to this I'd see one a month maybe at most.

In my town of 900 people there is my velocity blue, xlt, fx4. A guy has a velocity blue xlt awd, and a neighbor has a grown kid that visits home once in awhile with a cactus grey, fx4, it's Xlt , I think.

Then I work at a place in the des moines area that has 500 employees. There is one maverick on each shift that I know of. Two are hybrids plus my ecoboost.

Outside of that, I've seen roughly a dozen on the road in the last 9 months. I am not looking all the time while driving though. A lot of 4 lane divided hiway for me. I am mostly watching my side , not the other

Thanks for the breakdown as I have not been charting online sales. Seems we are seeing a shift in some areas - market adjustment and or production has started to fill the voids.
I will keep an eye out on line….

I'm a transit driver for my local Ford dealer, and I also drive for local Dodge dealer. With as much as I'm on the road, mainly in Louisiana and Texas, but other states as well, I have only seen a few Mavericks over the last year. I've seen as many as 2 in a day, but yet may drive a month without seeing any. My Hybrid Lariat, Lux, CP 360 & CP:360+ is at railyard now in Houston, waiting to get on transport to my dealer.

There are two different ones that drive past my employer everyday, and I drive by one in a driveway in my town everyday. I do see some others from time to time as well.

Next week will mark one year since I ordered my Maverick. I've had it over a month and have driven it through 11 states. I have seen just two other Mavericks in that time!

So you'll be hauling your own Maverick to the dealer?

I don’t see them everyday but I see them more and more. Some bloke in my neighborhood has an Area 51. When I pass him I give him a thumbs up 👍 and he probably has no idea why as I’m still awaiting mine to be shipped. Maybe it’ll make more sense to him when I get mine.

There’s a cyber orange one that is parked in the community college I drive past on the way to work. There’s an alto blue one that’s parked at the Harris Teeter every time I go there. He must work there or something.

And for the first time ever on Monday I was behind an iconic silver one for an extended period on my commute.

Then some random sightings here and there around town.

Ha, I wish! I would gladly go get it from the railyard if they would let me.

We used to go pick up some vehicles at the railyard occasionally. After COVID hit, the chip shortage started, followed by low stock at all dealers, an incident happened somewhere in multistate area. I'm told, so just rumor, some dealers were very impatient because they had vehicles sitting at railyards and couldn't get them to their lot. They made their own arrangements to get the vehicles. Somehow lots of keys (and key fobs) turned up missing causing a major problem at the railyard. I'm sure you can imagine. Anyway, we aren't allowed to go get any vehicles, at least for the moment anyway.

BTW, it was not our dealer who did that!

Dang, that sucks. Sounds like a hell of a mess. That would have been pretty cool if you transported your own rig to the dealer.

That would be cool if you hauled your own new ride to the dealership. Too bad it won’t end up that way…
Best of luck when it hits your driveway and thanks for the count you’ve seen on the open road…..
All the best ✔🇺🇸

Saw my first HPR Maverick in the wild besides my own earlier today. At a stoplight, as I was turning left, there was an HPR Lariat at the front of the line. I noticed he had an out of state license plate; might have been from California(?).

I saw him in time, rolled down my window and gave him a big wave and he waved back.

This was my first wild sighting in over a month. Probably have seen about 20 altogether.

There are only 150 XL Hybrid on lot in Tuscaloosa Alabama. My guess is the amount sitting for the last 3 mos on that lot is why people are unable to get the one they ordered. Those that will say "cant be" are incorrect

I just viewed a Maverick on television. On the History Channel there is a new show titled "Dirty Old Cars". The owner of one detail shop in Morgantown, NC drives a Maverick.
