I have the heavy load ones on my F150. They are pretty cool, keeps the stock ride but reduces squat under heavy load. If you are getting close to payload capacity consistently I would definitely get them.

I think for that price I would just use air bags out back. Cost is about the same and chunky rubber like that is more likely to end up cracking up over time. Cool though. Love options.

I had the SES ones for my 2005 Dakota for 13 yrs then I traded it in for my Mav. They were an easy install, they helped level loads, kept rear end sway to a minimum - granted they were installed over the rear axle, which the Mav doesn't have. The rubber was pretty solid/durable and no cracking - primary use in FL, but they went though winter weather conditions many a time when I had to travel to NC and back for work.

I have the Active Off-road bump stops on mine. Haven’t hit the fire roads and trails yet since I put them on but they’ve definitely soaked up a couple cringe inducing holes in my area’s “well maintained” roads. Also probably one of the easiest installing items ever.

Bump this thread to the top. Any other Mavericks out there using either of these? I occasionally haul heavy loads in the bed and are interested in these. Looking at etrailer.com’s videos though, they seem to have little impact. Thoughts?

So Timbren states that these fit both AWD and FWD Mavericks. But all the pictures and videos I've seen are all on AWD Mavericks. Any FWD people have these installed?

On a side note, I installed a rear set of Timbrens on my dad's 2001 F250 over a decade ago. He uses his F250 to pull their giant 37ft 5th wheel. They have performed exceptionally well and show no wear. They are a great product.
