The most common "real" issue is increased wear on the CV joints. Because the Maverick wasn't designed for high clearance, a 2-inch lift puts the axles at a steeper angle, which can lead to premature boot failure or clicking.
As I have mentioned before, I had this setup on our Jeep patriot when we owned it. Had to remove it. It was a decent ride until you topped out the suspension and then it would send a huge clunk through the entire rig. We removed it again and got our money back. It was horrible. Anyone looking at this I would suggest te ford tremor setup with a small spacer on top or a lift spring and bilstien struts.
