Ford Maverick Insurance price quotes for 2021 Maverick 💰 35AB7157-BE70-4180-873D-EC3344958D1D

Combo of living in MA/new driver/increasing value of insured vehicle by $20,000...

I'll be shopping around, but USAA was the cheapest by a long shot when I was insuring my current car so I'm not super hopeful of finding a better rate.

I checked and got 580 dollars for 6 months from USAA. Actually kind of surprised, their coverage for my old vehicles was actually very good.

Will probably call them up closer to the delivery date and see what we can do about it.

I was quoted at around 183 a month via allstate with full coverage which is whom we have used for decades. I get being a younger driver with their first new vehicle on a new policy on my own vs the family plan id pay more. But i prepared for that. That and everything in my area is expensive. It is the way it is. My folks in their 50s and 60s pay similar with a multi car discount. I can swing it though

Im in CT and was quoted at 183 a month or 1096 or so for 6months of wall to wall coverage. And im under 30 and this is my first new vehicle on my own power etc. Perhaps they would have a better quote? But perhaps not as well.

What would be helpful to know from people would be:
What is your current car?
What are you paying now?
What would you be paying with the Maverick?
Who is your carrier?

$218.50 6/mos.
haven't inquired about adding Maverick, but when I had another pickup on policy it was ~$10.00 cheaper.

That seems high, but there are so many variables when it comes to insurance.

I'm paying ~$600/yr for my '18 F150. About the same for wifes '21 Pilot.

Yours is cheaper than mine but I carry elevated personal & property (in case of really expensive weird things) and $25 deductable comprehensive $250 deductable collision ($25 was nice when neighbor had house re roofed and his (?) rats moved under my hood and ate $5800 plastic & insulation then 3 months later $9200 hail damage somehow missing all the glass (?)). FYI .. it is remarkably to cheap to add additional personal property $$$ coverage to home owners/renters policy. Take an inventory & pics of everything! Your six year old may have $4k worth of Chinese collectables. I keep 20 days of underwear (in case washing machine thing doesn't happen) = $240 at full individual piece price because you don't have time to shop around when tornado blows house and everything away. Adjuster shows up and writes check for 70k or whatever since it is all gone! Sorry about this, I got carried away!

That’s less than in Louisiana with 100/300/100, $500 deductible, and I’m 68 with a clean record. I’m also with Farmers.

We have a 2018 Honda CRV which we just paid off, BMW M5 (paid off), Boxster (paid off) multi motorcycles. We have on all vehicles:

Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability
$250,000 each person/$500,000 each accident/$100,000 each accident
Uninsured Motorist
$250,000 each person/$500,000 each accident
Underinsured Motorist
$250,000 each person/$500,000 each accident
Medical Payments
$1,000 each person

Our deductible is $500/w glass (need that here in AZ)

Everything but the CRV is "pleasure" vehicles (can't drive more than 2500 a year per vehicle) and paying $1100/yr. The Maverick will add $600 a year. We have progressive, I've had co-workers swear by Liberty Mutal, but for what I have, I'll be close to 4500/yr... I'm not loyal to any one company, I have a friend who is a broker, and if he can get me better rates, I switch.

Your age is working against you. Premiums generally rise after age 70. At age 80, there is typically another big jump.
