Xmas is coming. I must be the nicest kid on earth. I'm driving my Maverick after 10 month waiting. Ford now is telling me the F-150 Lightening I ordered long time ago should be available the coming summer. What can I do? Buy a new house with bigger garage to host them both? Maybe spare today's lunch money to buy a Powerball ticket first?

On an unrelated note: I'm a day 1 reservation for the CyberTruck because I liked the price and I'm one of the few people in the world who actually didn't mind the shape. I'm still thinking my Maverick will be paid off before it gets built and if they take too much longer, I'm going to punt.

If you can afford to buy an F150 Lightening & a bigger house/garage to put it in, you don't need a lottery ticket.

I also got the same Ford Lightning email ref my reservation. Not so sure if I'm going to go through with it. The base Pro model's three price increases in the last few months from $40K to $56K now is hard to swallow.

By the time summer comes, that base Pro model's price will probably be over $60K.
Ford Motor Company meeting: "Hey guys, how much should we raise the price of the $40K Lightning?"
Also Ford Motor Company: "I'll see your $40K and raise you one Maverick XL."

I watched a video on YouTube a young lady took her lightning from Chicago to Indianapolis round trip had to add an extra two and a half hours for recharging the battery at 5 different places . The charging stations were very slow she noted was not sure if this was because of the cold weather she also noted that 85% of the available power was used by the motor and the remaining 15% for accessories and keeping the vehicle warm you might want to watch it . The recharging fee were over 30.00 $ each ???
