Well, what IS CLEAR, is they have NOT done away with dealer allocations affecting your probability of getting your truck built.

terms.png
Ahh, wasn’t it about a year ago that these same people told us that they had abandoned dealer allocations and were building Mavericks “first in - first out”?
Or was that just wishful thinking at month 3-4 of a fourteen-month siege?
I’m waiting for Ford to tell me flat out “IF you switch to EB we WILL build you a truck NOW.” NOW, as in… NOW! Not next year or two. Maybe. If you’re lucky.
Ford is so unaware. Totally ignore their customers. Remember Tommy Lee Jones in “The Fugitive”? “I. Don’t. Care.” New Ford slogan. They should get him to play Farley in the movie “Ford vs Customers”.

It's a little unclear from the memo. Are they saying that the Spray In Bedliner is no longer a constraint? If that's the case, I am going to the dealer today to add it
I just called my dealer and we added both packages (bedliner and cargo system) as Ford hasn't made the deal a " single package" just yet but we're going to look at it again in a couple of weeks to see if it converts and if not he'll honor the deal. I'm sticking with my Hybrid and will wait until I rot for it.

Yes, that’s what they said a year ago… But now it is crystal clear Ford has gone back to the old allocations system, warts and all.

Good casting choice for the Ford movie!

Awesome. I have been talking to CS, but each one has a different answer. They all told me to call my dealer. I know now to ask for the certificate #! Great info. Good luck on your order!
Update: Just got off the phone with CS. Apparently, my dealership actually cancelled and reordered my truck and that is why I don't have a "private offer". They screwed up the roll over. Words cannot describe how pi$$ed I am right now!

I guess that explains why my order if late production date is late January now while folks who ordered in September are getting production dates now.

Update 2: I just called a sales manager at the dealer. They said that Ford cancelled my order because I had a 22 VIN which they couldn't build. I explained that from my understanding (thanks Tim Bartz) that it should be a roll over which would get the "private offer". He thinks I just get price protection vs. a private offer. He told me it was price protected as of November 16, 2022 vs. when I ordered it in 2021! He is researching it. My understanding is I should receive the "private offer" as the rollovers to 2023's don't get price protection.

Currently Don't have a VIN. Ford Chat says that is not scheduled. My dealer today said while it is not scheduled, it is "at the top of the list". What does that mean and how would he know that?

Of course for those of us who DID order Tremors, could not put in an order for several days due to ordering issues and therefore toward the bottom of the line at a dealer in Maverick orders. So we will now risk not getting a Maverick if a significant number of people switch to Tremor orders. Not a good notice for us.
1st post! I've been hawking this site since I put in my order for '23 Tremor. I'm bummed for all the Hybrid folks that don't want to move towards the EB but man.....the potential for me to move to the back of the line stings a little bit! I have a production date in January and fear I'll be feeling the "hurry up and wait" situation that a lot of the folks in the forum are dealing with. I'm willing to wait for a little while but man, I don't think I have the patience of some of the posters on this forum! :)

Has yours been scheduled for production yet? Mine is but went from the weeks of 12/12 to 12/19 and now 1/2. Curious if you were able to add them if you are already scheduled for production

Anybody have any luck getting the SIBL + Cargo discount added to their existing order? I asked my dealer and they said since I have a production date scheduled for early January that they can’t update my order (no window sticker created yet). 😡. Anyone else have any success with this? Or any way of getting a change after a production date has been scheduled?
I spoke to a Ford sales mgr and he highly recommended to not add the bedliner because even though it is not a constraint now, it adds another step that will cause delay. But the bigger reason is if a lot of people add SIBL to their order (as he expects) it likely will become a constrained item again and could cause a big delay.

Most dealers charge the same price, $500 for SIBL once delivered. Yes you will not get the free cargo rail but he does not think this discount is worth the risk.

Read some of the fordvideoguy posts… There is a procedure for the dealer to call their rep, describe the private offer problem and get it fixed for you. But they have to do the legwork, so you will have to convince them to do it. Go to the dealership for a face-to-face discussion and don’t take no for an answer.

It's a hybrid or a no go for me. I already have a hybrid, want to purchase another, but I will not switch to Ecoboost. Bottom line is I am all in for a hybrid if they cannot build it it is their loss not mine. The Ranger redesign next year has my attention and there are other options out there not necessarily in a small truck. So, we shall see!
That's what I'm talking about.... I hope most Hybrid order-holders have your attitude to improve my odds of getting my EB - eventually.

LOL - just kidding.... Hope you get the truck you want. In fact it will be my luck that you'll get your truck before I get mine..:p

Oh, and if you are worried you won't get the Ford logo, if you plan on a tonneau cover it covers the logo anyway like on this video.
