Spray In Bed Liner Capacity Now Available and Won't Delay Orders - Says Ford

I'm already scheduled. I'd like to add it but that isn't possible. So, I'll just have the dealer add it when it arrives. Long McArthur does it for the same price as Ford, so nothing is lost except the "Ford" cast into the bedliner.

Dealers got more detail in WBDO. They can handle 1,880 more Maverick spray-in bedliners a month!

Ford probably worked to increase capacity.....but had trained everyone to drop the spray-in bedliner.

Ford is targeting 39% of Mavericks to have spray-in liner. Right now the retail orders w/ spray-in bedliner are about 1/2 of that.

If you are scheduled you can't change. If you are unscheduled, adding back the spray-in bedliner is something to think about.

I left off SIBL on my order and will keep it off without having to risk a delay. I will have it done locally by Line-X.

Also, Line-X warranties their work for the life of the truck. My guess is the factory SIBL is only covered within the standard new vehicle warranty period.

Hmmmmm.... that is a good question!! I honestly don't know for sure (and I don't know of anyone at Ford I could ask to get a solid answer). But I am leaning towards thinking that it could help a little bit. They have the capability, and will want to use it.

I won't hold it against you if I make the change and end up waiting. I was planning to get Line-X but like the idea of not having to fool with it.

Tempting, but I'm afraid to add anything else on to my order. Was planning on getting an aftermarket SIBL.

I got the spray-in bedliner in mine and am happy with it. I got the early Lux Pkg....so that held me up for a long in the beginning.

I ordered without the SIBL but I may contact my dealer and ask about adding it back. My order is a Hybrid Lariat with lux and CP360 so I doubt it would hurt. The SIBL is less constrained than my other options as of right now.

Yeah, the hybrid hurts more. I have an EB, so I don't think it hurts either way in the long run. Figured I'd ask how much Ford really wants them added to orders to get it built sooner.

Feels too good to be true..

This is what was said after the 23 order break down was given. That orders didn't exceed or even reach capacity. Glad I added it. Of course being a Hybrid with a hitch is not going to help.

I really wanted the Ford sibl but everyone said DO NOT add it to my order. If I'm already scheduled does that mean I'm sol now and will have to get it done after I take delivery? I ordered and got every other option I wanted and received my build date for Jan 9th. Can't complain too much..

That was exactly my thought when I saw it. "Uh huh..."

Wonder what @fordvideoguy would think. If it helps my odds I would put it on since I want it.
