So I'll add myself to the list of Hybrid owners with the shudder.
- Initially <5K miles it was a very mild vibration. Conditions: Started up in my garage. Mild 70 degrees temperature, under acceleration, very light incline in the road. Happened a few times and just made a mental note of it.
- >5K miles I got a heavy shudder, like someone referenced going over aggressive rumble strips. Conditions: Had already driven it to the grocery store, parked, got my groceries, came back out, and started it. Cold temperatures at 26 degrees (noted the temp after it happened), I have the heater on "Hi" and turned on. As I'm leaving the parking spot and approaching a stop sign, I just get off the gas and about to transition to brake and a very strong shudder goes throughout the truck. It lasted at least a full second+ because I had a chance to process what was happening and thinking "WTF is going on?" It stopped, I drove home and made a mental note.

Well since I have two recalls to do, I suppose I'll just let the Service Advisor know when I drop it off for that Recall work. Anyhow, just wanted to note my experiences.

Interesting note: I'm going to do a 1100 mile drive later this week with my motorcycle in the back, so let's see how it does.

Keep us posted as had two strong shedders in the first 600 miles with similar, feathering or foot off the gas on a slight incline. Have several litter shudders, but until it happens regularly, can not see taking the time to take it to the dealership for them to say we did not see it. The dealership 45-50 minutes away and chose them for their reputation. Know I said would update the old post but seems to be more of a pain and Ford did open a case, which is now probably closed. Think the power train has a 60k 5 year warrantee. So have plenty of time use the truck and wait until it gets to be a regular occurance. Plus by that time they may have a bulletin on a fix, replacement of parts.

Shudder for me as well. First became noticeable at about 4K miles. Getting progressively worse. Now about 6,800 miles. Happens on deceleration when switching from ICE to electric.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

No, thank you. You don't ever really seem to add any value to helping me or others in the past.
All you do is pass it along to Ford Customer Service, and try to give the perception that you're doing something of value for us, you're not. I can make a phone call and get the same result. Trust me @Ford Motor Company, when I've had enough, you'll wish you had tried harder, sooner.
Maybe confirm you can get the needed new side airbags right away and then I'll reconsider that you actually add value to this Forum Board.

It appears that Mach 1 has taken his ball and gone home. He has removed his posts concerning transmission shudder and the cable lug fix. Hmmm...
..
Was that right after he got the "send me your vin and dealer name" post from FORD? = ✓👌

@Adospeed, not true about @Ford Motor Company about doing nothing. She did ask me about it and create a case with Ford and did get a call that I missed. Called the number and got a co-worker and gave her the message that did not want to go to the dealer that was not close for an issue they probably will say we did not see it. If it happens more consistently will contact the dealer.

Please re-read my post. I didn't say NOTHING. I said they didn't add value, that's my opinion and experience.
Glad they were responsive to your needs, but it doesn't require a Ford PR Forum crew to get things done. Action was always just a phone call away for you.
Glad they're helping you stay on the road. Be well.

I started noticing a small shudder, especially when decelerating, at around 1500 miles. I'm at 2500 miles now, and It's still moderate, but fairly frequent, happens almost every time I drive it around town.

My 2022 Mav has has only 600 miles but the shudder has started already in the last couple of hundred miles and It's getting stronger and more pervasive. I switch to Sport mode to prevent stopping ICE and the transition to electric mode as a workaround. It seems to prevent the issue from happening but it also makes the mav noiser and less efficient.

I want it fix. I don't care if the engine has to come out, just want Ford to take care of it. I have an appt with my dealership on Monday.

Hey there! I can look into your Maverick’s shudder concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Add one more that's experienced the shudder. Happened a few times right after leaving the driveway in the morning. Slow speed, maybe 25 mph. Maybe going up a very slight incline. It was just like going over rumble strips. I have not contacted the dealer. Waiting on the side airbags to minimize the downtime.
