I couldn't figure out for days after I got my hybrid what the noise was. I thought I had a problem. This alert noise isn't mentioned anywhere in the 500+ page owners manual. Strange omission in my opinion.

A reverse alarm makes sense, but this ticking noise isn't very loud. Also such an alarm isn't mentioned anywhere in the 530 page owners manual.

Ordered my hybrid lux Lariet from Covington Ford on 6/11. 7 months later I have a VIN, window sticker and build this coming week. They’re accepting X-plan pricing which is a bit under MSRP and will help on the typically high Georgia dealers doc fees. Long wait, but I’m going to enjoy this truck.

Small dealer in Georgia. Order for silver Lariet hybrid Lux confirmed June 11. Nothing since that confirmation. and I'm (supposedly) Priority 2. This customer certainly feels that Ford should give more priority to our order date. Very frustrating.
