In case it helps anyone, I find that my 171 cm skis fit diagonally in the bed like they were made for the Maverick. You could probably get another 2-3 cm in there before it becomes a problem.

Before it arrived I thought I would have to install some rack or slot system to keep them secure and not sliding around, but with the tight fit and friction from the OEM spray in liner, they stay put and I never hear any rattling around while driving.

The Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover helps me keep everything safe and secure too. I have the Lariat AWD 2.0 EB, so as a ski vehicle, the Mav is everything I hoped it would be and more!

Excellent! This is the content I forgot I needed! I ski 164cm and my girl is on 156cm, so this will work perfectly.

My skis are similar length and will fit using a soft ski bag. Hard shell case would not be flat on the floor, however.

My quiver includes skis 156cm, 160cm, 176cm, 178cm, and 180cm. I installed a rack system on the bed rails.
Total was about $1200.00 but it was so worth it.

I don't have my Maverick yet (it's supposedly on a train right now), but am planning to do a similar setup.

What length crossbars are you using? I have a set of 58" Yakima roundbars from a previous vehicle, but I'm not sure if they're long enough.

FWIW, my 184cm touring skis fit fine diagonally on the wheel wells. Just need a piece of lumber in the back slot to even things out.

Good to hear. Ski season is here though my 26 Mav is "almost built". Ford says they're experiencing "unexpected delays". Well anyway I checked my quiver and I have 177, 180 and 186. Haven't checked my Nordic setup yet. If your 184s fit the bed is fitting longer skis than I expected it would. That's good to hear.

My 180 x 100s fit fine, but my 190 x 120s have to go on the roof.

I've got 3 pairs of skis and may be SOL with mine unless I can figure some way of stacking them. I measured the angle and was like, yeah my 170s will fit but after buying I'm now thinking I have to have a roof rack after all.
