i have heard Ford was targeting young first time truck buyers. The club has a data base with our ages and I would like to see the demographics for the club. Most of the people I see driving a Maverick appear to be over 40. I am 77 so this could be interesting data. This could help us if we were of a mind to sell our trucks.

A LOT of people I see post on here talk about how they are retired or have worked in blah blah blah industry for decades, etc..... Some talk about how they might literally die before their maverick delivers. Or how this will be their last vehicle ever.

22 here. Wanted to get rid of my Mustang as half the year is rough in IA with it, got wind of the Maverick around September, researched and perfectly fit my truck needs and anything I would need. taking delivery likely this week or next. Excited.

You could start a poll in a new thread where we could check our age at time of Maverick purchase at the dealership.

For me I was 66 last December 13, 2021 when I bought my Maverick XLT Hybrid.

What club?

The Maverick truck club. I should have been specific. The Bronco club should do the same. I purchased a Mercury Grand Marquis’s when I was 40 and Mercury was targeting people over 65. All I will say is I had that car 15 years and it still had the best ride of any car I owned before or after besides a smooth ride there was no road noise. I got more speeding tickets in this car than any other car I owned. i was pulled over one night by a state trooper and I went back and sat in his car which was a Grand Marquise and he ask me if I knew how fast I was going and I told him no and I followed up to him if he always. Knew how fast he was going and his response was no. With that I said I rest my case and I went off with a warning after we compared nots on the qualities Grand Marquee. Think of sitting in your family room on the couch.

You and I both, mine was just offloaded at its destination point earlier today so possibly looking at same time frame as you, if my dealer actually has a truck scheduled to pick it up that is lol

I think it would be interesting and supprising. I ordered one and I am 72. I have a big Truck but I want something I don't have to climb up in and I can get something out of the bed without breaking ribs. My wife is challenged and I wanted something she could get in and out of and would fit in a parking space. But still needed a truck for those trips to Sam's and Rural King. Wife likes those industrial size baskets they put on their eletric carts. If they would just put a dump on them.

Oh lol I should have known that. I’ve only seen one Mav where I live and the driver appeared to be a late teen/early 20’s guy. I’m 36 and this is my first Ford and first truck. I personally have not seen any ads for a Maverick so IDK if Ford active advertised to a certain demographic.

Ford made a few TV advertisements, but never ran them because word-of-mouth spread like wildfire back in June-July-August 2021. Once I heard about it in late June, I ordered mine July 7th (see signature for details). ...... Me 66 ..... Love my Mav like I love my ebike and the Saris ebike rack.

I’m 20. I’m coming up on a week off ownership.

Sold my Challenger because 40 mpg vs 12 mpg is a no brainer. Absolutely love it, especially the price.
