I'm retiring end of next year, dealer laughed when I said, "Just get it to me by then." He said oh, you'll have it before then. Not so sure about that anymore, with all these dates that keep getting pushed back.
I'm retiring end of next year also. Told my dealer it is a race to see what happens first lol. I am a 22 Ecoboost rollover. Good luck

Hey, congrats! I need the Hybrid for my retirement road trips, you'll likely get yours first, though.

GM...yep...that's why the Vega was such a POS
And the Pinto wasn't? Or the Crown Vic with the likewise exploding gas tank? I can hardly wait to get a Maverick, but I think every manufacturer has that one (or more) complete "dud" product...

Or based on which browser/device you order from. More for Safari/iOS users, knowing they like to throw money away. ;)
[Warning - not specifically Maverick related post. Skip if that bothers you...]

I realize that you probably intended to be funny with your "like to throw money away" line... I worked in the IT field for my entire career, and was certified on pretty much all the Microsoft platforms, and developed software for mobile devices for the last 10 years of my career. (Now retired.) I initially went to the Apple camp initially kicking and screaming, but have come to realize (as did the Fortune 50 company I worked for) that the Apple infrastructure actually winds us costing FAR less than the "cheaper" Microsoft/Android stuff. We did detailed total cost of ownership studies that proved that spending twice as much on Apple hardware saved us well over 50% of the total cost of ownership over a 3-year period.

Because I saw those results, and was using Apple at work, I switched at home as well. I've been really happy buying more expensive Apple computers, and not having to replace them for 8+ years because they are still performing well and are still reliable. I've never had a Windows/Intel machine (at any price point) that I wasn't ready to scrap after 3 years. A while back, I convinced my sister (big Windows fan-girl) to switch to a $1200 Apple laptop, rather than spending $450 every 18 months on Win/Intel laptops by promising to pay for a replacement computer for her in 2 years if she wasn't happy. I doubt you could pry that MacBook from her hands now...

I realize it's practically mandatory for the Windows/Intel crowd to denigrate "Apple fanboys" but trust me, we're laughing all the way to the bank...

I see you have tow bar in your signature. Are you planning on flat towing?

No, actually not planning any kind of towing at all, but for $100 it just made sense to add, not something I can add afterwards for anywhere near that price. And ya just never know when you might need to tow something now and then.

Smart. That Uhaul trailer won't pull itself.

Wow, people are getting hot!

I have not come across any "Political crap!" I did read some miss understandings.
Was your comment aimed at anyone or the whole Maverick Club?

Just for a case in point: Ponyprez was lamenting the good old days of our youth and KFBR392 said: "No offense taken."

I love the fact that people can express their feelings.
Right or wrong, it is hard no matter what the reasons for why we have too wait a year or more for our Mavericks.
The club let's us blow steam off, so long as we stay polite with each other.

So, has nobody received emails pushing their production out another week today? I haven't seen any posted.

They usually don't show up until late Tuesday evenings...

Mine usually show up about 5:30PM Pacific time. I think they wait until no one is answering phones or chats in the hopes you'll cool off before they re-open the next day.
