Mavericks now hitting "In Production" status on Ford tracker. Has Yours?

Does anyone know if the confirmed order changes if you change your order? My original order was a hybrid 6/14 around 8/20 I change to AWD.

Mine changed to "in production". Last week dealer said built day is 9/14

if you only received a order confirmation how did you know your VIN number? Just an impatient wonderer here!

Either the dealer provided it with his build date (most likely) or he called Ford marketing after getting the build date.

It would be smart to check with your dealer to verify what is on your order. Any changes need to be done before production scheduling. Ford only emails you one confirmation and then another email when scheduled for production.

Wouldnt the “in production” being checked indicate that’s “active”? Mine shows the text for in production like the others, my build date is week of 9/13. Seems a little early to me to assume this means they are about to hit the line?

Here’s my point — on desktop browser i can click on Delivered, and it shows the text that WILL be true once it’s delivered. Makes me skeptical about the idea that anything has changed for first production week yet. It’s next week eh?

You must have a " Customer's Order Number" and a " VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)"

Just curious, how many folks have a "Customer Order Number" and a VIN and when did they receive them? All I have is confirmation of my order.

The notification system just isn't working perfectly. It could also be that the dealer inputs their email address instead of the buyer's. In my case, it just isn't working right. I received my initial order email from Ford after placing my order with Granger Ford, but did not receive the email notice that it was scheduled. Granger was nice enough to reach out to let me know it was though, as they are pretty proactive in the process. They sent me an email that day, provided my assigned VIN, both of which I was also able to verify through the Ford customer service number (note they can't see your build week, just that you are assigned a VIN).

It also showed up in the scheduling tracker, but did not indicate it was scheduled there either, just that my order was placed. Knowing that Granger said my build week was 9/13 I've been checking the tracker periodically, and it updated earlier today!

Customer order # is assigned by your dealer, at the time your order is placed with them and sent to Ford - it would be on your DORA and is a 4 digit/character code (dealer chooses what that value is). The VIN does not get created/assigned to your order until Ford has picked it and assigned it a scheduled build week.
