I was the OP of this thread. Just to follow up, the Dealer I'm working with confirmed that this is almost surely an issue with the Battery Wiring Harness. He has another vehicle that experienced the exact same thing. Unfortunately, the part is backordered several months. Ford is aware of this...

I agree 100%. It was almost me who died. I can't believe this isn't already a class action lawsuit.

That's a great question. It definitely felt like no brakes at first. I pressed the brake pedal to the floor and got no reaction. After that I really just kind of drifted, did my best to avoid hitting anyone or anything.

It's very difficult getting in touch with anyone and getting any kind of meaningful response. Their IVR phone systems seem intentionally designed to create a delay and confusion.

Thanks, I will absolutely submit a report. It's at the dealer, so I can't check the door jamb. My purchase/sale documents indicate it was manufactured and sent to original dealer 12/15/21. I did not get any kind of alert on the instrument panel. It just went blank instantaneously.
