the equanimity of your reasoning is attractive ... what concerns me is that my experience with the dealer's handling of the Deep Sleep issue, the better part of a year later, seems to be starting at square one ...Build issues can happen with a new model as well as something that's been produced for years. All these " I'm glad I'm waiting for issues "to get resolved" are living in a fantasy world. If there wasn't issues that had to be fixed in new vehicles there wouldn't be a warranty. My wife's 2020 Lexus has to go in to get a console replacement where the catch broke off....... I wish I had waited for Japan to get their quality control up ...... hahahahahaha A decal here, a bad wire there, a 12 volt battery even seen a transmission on this forum. - there will always be a certain percentage of parts that are defective and need replacement. Everything we have seen has been taken care of by Ford.
The competency of your individual dealership is a whole nother conversation. Some dealerships are excellent others are awful.the dealer's handling of the Deep Sleep issue, the better part of a year later, seems to be starting at square one ...

FORD has a major problem with this and it needs to be fixed ASAP!I accept your above contention re: service quality prima facie ... however, it would seem that 'warranty work' preformed by the dealerships are essentially constrained by the manufacture's subsidy of approved diagnostic protocols relative to customer complaint ... suggesting that to exceed those procedural guidelines places the dealership at financial risk ... and if that is in fact true, wouldn't it then be all the more incumbent upon Ford ... (your concluding remark: "Everything we have seen has been taken care of by Ford.") ... to have a comprehensive 'decision tree' algorithm in place by now for this known "Deep Sleep" complaint?
I agree! My truck was at the dealer for 5 weeks getting the faulty battery cable replaced, now I get the "deep sleep" notification. Can @Ford Motor Company help us?FORD has a major problem with this and it needs to be fixed ASAP!
FORD Needs to FIX this Major Problem soon, there are too many of us having this problem!
We need to light a candle under someones rear end somehow at FORD to expidite this!
I drive my Hybrid every day just like normal, but I Have had the Deep Sleep problem develop again 3 months after the dealer replaced my 12 battery and said they figured out the fix. They had my truck for 6 weeks until finally changed the battery and reprogramed whatever. It worked properly for 3 months. Now the problem is back again!
Really? Is there no one at FORD seeing these posts?
Sounds about rightIt worked properly for 3 months. Now the problem is back again!

Yes. The Deep Sleep messages continue for me as well ... the difference being (presumably, after the two week dealership software update?) they seem to be limited to one message per use cycle ... rather than a barrage of messages after each use cycle. Does this suggest that the fix was to limit the alarm notification?FORD has a major problem with this and it needs to be fixed ASAP!

Please keep us deep sleep folks updated.Just went to my local Ford Dealer on 4-3-23 I have Maverick XLT yesterday to have SSM 51449 for the Inaccurate or Erroneous Deep Sleep Notifications in Ford Pass App. They made Software update to the TCU telemetry control unit to correct the Erroneous Deep Sleep Message. I confirmed this a couple of days before I went to the dealer through Ford Pass Chat having them connecting through to my vehicle switching the modem in truck off and back on they verified the SSM 51449 message the truck went into the deep sleep mode again after turning modem back on again. The dealer confirmed there were no fault codes and battery tested OK. So I'll see if anything comes up relative to the Deep Sleep Mode which s/b based on three conditions 9.5 VDC, Hot and Cold, and after 2 weeks. looks like this can happen on the XL, XLT, and Lariat. So have this checked first vs thinking the battery is bad. It would be nice if they had OTA over the air updates but I don't think the ford maverick system is setup for it. My C8 corvette uses OTA's had five for the car no problems saves a trip to dealer and time. Again it depends on how big the S/W update is also or complexity.
The voltage threshold for Deep Sleep is no where near 9.5vdc, it’s ~11.8.Just went to my local Ford Dealer on 4-3-23 I have Maverick XLT yesterday to have SSM 51449 for the Inaccurate or Erroneous Deep Sleep Notifications in Ford Pass App. They made Software update to the TCU telemetry control unit to correct the Erroneous Deep Sleep Message.
