Aft Catalytic converter anti-theft plate?

Has anyone come out with an anti-theft plate for the aft cat on the hybrid? That seems to be kind of a big deal out here in SoCal. I’ve had to install them on all of the family Prius’s.

I'm having this internal debate myself. Modify the truck, or modify my parking space. Like how about parking straddling speed bumps to make it too short to crawl under the truck? Sure the driveway will look funny but these are desperate times.

Its not just a SoCal issue, Cat theft is big up here in MN too. Up here I think our police department can paint your cat with heat tolerant paint and engrave a control number on it so junkyards will know better than to touch it (that's the theory anyway...)

They recently busted two cat theft rings in the Houston area not to long ago. One of which was responsible for nearly $12 million in thefts, and the other murdered a peace officer -

Is the Ecoboost Exhaust different or basically the same as the hybrid? Who has drawings for the EcoBoost?

Would a well educated theif prefer one over the other? Or are both of equal value?

It's a problem in almost every urban area to be honest. We had the cat stolen from our RV this past winter (Vancouver, Canada).

The scrap yards aren't always where they end up, a lot of them are directly shipped overseas for processing, or in some cases just resold for replacement parts on compatible vehicles.

Not affiliated but there are a number of ways to make it harder to steal.

True but it's more anonymous at a scrap yard. Shipping overseas isn't viable unless done in mass and private resale involves advertising and witnesses.
That reminds me, when I bought my SVT Mustang I had to add cats to get it E checked then a short while later stashed them in the garage when I got a full X pipe system. Am I sitting on a gold mine?

I'm pretty confident that a couple of the bigger suppliers will offer one for the Mav pretty soon. Is the dual cat system common to both the EB and Hybrid?

They don't always crawl under the car, they bring a car jack, mostly travel in teams, many carry firearms, and can be in and out in 60 sec. or less. The demand for cat shields is huge, I can't believe some enterprising entrepreneur hasn't seized on this opportunity.
