Mines in Memphis as we speak, salesperson says it may be a month before I see her. That would bring this adventure to 1 year….I have a built date of 8/28. And as we stand today on the 26th of September it seems like it hasn’t yet left the plant. Still waiting to ship. Anybody else having this issue? Why is my maverick sitting on a lot for a whole month?![]()
Who knows but maybe the suspenseful period just before the pending rail strike affected the loading or rail movement of some rail cars to certain areas or rail yards. They can only park so many rail cars. Since strike was averted rail movement planning could return to more normal volumes.Hey another thread about this! Add me to the list. Built 08/25. And yes, middle America/midwest, I'm located in Michigan. It seems like those built in the two weeks leading up to Labor Day are waiting to ship. According to Ford CS my Mav has been received by the carrier company, so I believe it's sitting at the railyard waiting to get moving.
The tracker can lag with updates, I called (800) 334-4375 and found out that my order was built on 8 SEP. Called again on 16 SEP and found out that it was on the rail from Mexico. Called again on 23 SEP and found out that it was in Colton, CA waiting to get transferred on a truck. Got a surprise call from the dealer saying that it had arrived on Saturday the 24th and brought it home that afternoon.Mine completed build on September 6. As of this morning, it still has not shipped. The excitement about getting a new truck has been dampened by my inability to plan a cross country trip. My wife retired in June (me last year) and we want to hit the road before winter weather. Aaahhh!
Mine was built last Friday today, Monday it said it was shipped.I have a built date of 8/28. And as we stand today on the 26th of September it seems like it hasn’t yet left the plant. Still waiting to ship. Anybody else having this issue? Why is my maverick sitting on a lot for a whole month?![]()
All I can do is chuckle when I check the tracker and it still says "Built - Awaiting Shipment" LOL.This coming from Chicagoland, been In Production since 8-10, been in the special hell known as ‘Pending Update’ since 9-5, with the Special Sauce of “…returned to Body Shop…” for the past 2+ weeks.
Gotta be waiting for something, one would think. But no one’s talking and The Tracker remains an inoperative punchline to a bad joke, mocking, without any change.
Gotta believe something good has gotta happen soon (said the idiot…)
Wait, one month from Memphis to Kentucky??Mines in Memphis as we speak, salesperson says it may be a month before I see her. That would bring this adventure to 1 year….
What was your build date? Mine was 8/30 & I received email that it was shipped on 9/23 & they give me an ETA of 10/22 to 10/28.I live in Illinois. Mine is built, off the train and sitting about 30 miles from my house. Slated to be delivered on October 10th...who knows?
I think Tim said last night they are shipping them with some type of temporary rubber/plastic logo.I wonder if yours is missing the Blue Oval name plate? Mine was built on 9/8 and shipped on 9/9. it arrived at the railyard in Atlanta last Friday & I'm hoping to get it next week.
