Told this story before and seeing we'll probably take delivery around the same time can defer to others.

But here is my story: Knew nothing about the x-plan when ordered the truck. Learned and got my x-plan pins and called the BDC Mgr and ask if they honored the x-plan. They said yes. Then tried to give him my x-plan number and he said he would do it at delivery time. When received the VIN # and called and they said, you did not order with an x-plan did you. Said no and that would have to talk with him and the owner. Well was afraid of them not doing any of it and wanted something. So told them that understood they are not sell as many cars and as long as the would do the $100 doc fee, the price protection and financing, and give me at least as much as CarMax would be ok with it. Maybe should have been firm or started with splitting the difference and that is on me. So yes other dealers know about it. Also told the CS person about being a DAV member and the dealer not wanting to give me the x-plan and they gave me some kind of coupon code, which assume is for military discount.

AFAIK, price protection will come out cheaper than Xplan, especially if you join Farmers Bureau

You won't get a build to day email. Supposedly, when you get the build-to-week email they've also scheduled the day. That was true for mine. I got a build week of 9/5 and when I checked the build day was 9/7. This ended up being 9/10 but they were close anyway. Tracker dates said in production 9/10, built 9/19, and shipped 9/21.

Yup. Adding similar datapoints. Emailed "Scheduled" in Aug for week of 9/19, ended up day of 9/21 (pretty good estimate!), built 9/23. No build to day email.

Do you know what department at Ford to contact? I talked to marketing but they weren’t much help. Maybe I just need to try to find someone else or ask for a supervisor at Marketing?

I would ask them if they can escalate you and just explain the situation. Let them know you understand it is not their fault, and they can't help, but would like to be pointed in the direction of who can and the method of contact.

A few people tweeted or emailed some higher ups, not sure where those threads are at, maybe they could help for this as well.

@Bw4tt @MLowe05 @OXHB619 Called the dealership and their stuff only updates once a day and can see it is in-transit and left the plant last night. Chat more or less said the same info and will try the chat tomorrow as the system most likely will update tonight.

Got the email this morning from Ford confirming production week of Oct 17. My production week hasn't been changed since I got it along with the VIN from the chat last month.

I ordered my Oxford White Maverick XL with Co-Pilot 360 and a SIBL on 10-11-2021. It was finally built on 9-6 and shipped on 9-9 with an estimate arrival between 9-20 thru 9-26. I just picked it up today around 4:30! No pressures and they honored the price protection and the % interest for 3 years (I placed a 16,000 deposit) on it. Awesome!!.....

Congratulations. Do you think the odds are better that your production date is met than the packers beating tampa bay today? Not much more wiggle room for those of us still in model year 22 pending build.

Ordered 10/6/21
XLT cactus grey copilot 360 hybrid
When they did my 2023 confirmation they still had the copilot 360 even though I dropped it beginning of march in hopes of being built in 22. Hopefully I get it. I am asuuming this will probably be the first batch of 23s.
