Early on you may get prior tracking or no data. For me, UP was the only place I was getting updates, then CSX, now that it is on NS, I get info from both CSX and NS. IIRC I was on UP until around Kansas City or St Louis.
For me, it is in Conway PA as of yesterday so they are going to miss the...
Wow that's really soon! Confused on the compromise. You don't need to order with the X-plan to get x-plan pricing, just need a valid pin and dealer that is accepting them. Or the compromise was to do regular (protected) pricing but the $100 doc fee (like the Xplan)?
Oh wow. Didn’t even think to check when it shipped. I’ll be interested to see if it does show up or not. 2 now show up as in stock with ADM so I assume they were cancelled/refused orders.
Did you complete paperwork when it shipped or more recently?
Your car showed up (briefly) at the dealer site? I've been checking that every now and again and haven't seen it or even any of the other Mavs I see that are waiting for pickup at United Road (not that my VIN shows up there).
And yeah for me CSX shows it at one place and UP has it at...
Have you only been using NS to track? If so, it prob wasn't on a NS train :) I just checked your car with CSX and got the info (that you already got) that it has been released by customer East Brookfield Mass Oct 10 4pm. Anyway congrats, not much longer... now the ground transport wait :)
I already have my certificate #, I assume you did/do too. Do you submit a new request? LMK how it goes/how long it takes. You’re probably a week or two ahead of me.
Pretty lame they didn't honor price protection. At least you came out positive on the trade.
For the Farm Bureau, that also is strange cause it looks like a straight rebate/cash off purchase. I didn't know you could get that direct to consumer.
It's in the post from @Administrator here as a highlight:
New orders for Maverick totaled more than 86,000 vehicles in September – a new record for orders, coming in while order banks were open just one week.
Not for nothing, but check out @Administrator's thread that is stickied in this forum here when you begin your build journey. Also in his first post is a link to tracking info.
Also realized this zombie thread was resurrected :D
Pending pickup? That's good at least it is off the railcar I assume. I see one Mav (not mine) pending pickup and mine is Inactive which makes sense since it hasn't arrived yet but at least I see they are awaiting it.
Encapsulates the dealer experience. Some dealers are on the ball and include it w/delivery. Others are clueless/don't know/don't care. It would be nice if FoMoCo just sent it direct after the fact to the purchaser.
Regret removing the SIBL or keeping the hitch? You can add SIBL later no problem. The hitch for $100 was a deal (or included in various pkgs) so I wouldn't regret keeping it. Heck even with all these constraints, I didn't remove anything although I thought about it :)
Woah I thought you received the car #! :( But yeah @Carl Racki, that is how you get it. I got it from Ford (chat) but it should also be on the VVR which you may be able to get from your dealer.
Yup you are correct! I checked with CSX and now it said it departed Nogales on UP, no ETA.
Checked UP via @Administrator's info:
Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace (1 for eng, Trace, 1 item)
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example...
