Canada order banks and private offers?

Called Ford this morning and they can see my order in the system is 'in processing' so it should be completed in the next production run... woohoo!

RE: the $1500 price certificate, the agent I spoke to didn't seem very knowledgeable - they said to look at the website, that I would've gotten an email, ask my dealer blah blah. I explained the list comes from Ford Canada but they ended the call with saying that my dealer has a contact directly with Ford Canada that I can reach out to and to ask my dealer for that person's information.

Next plan is to chat with the dealership and see if they have that info, but I'm also going to try the chat feature on the website to see if I get a more knowledgeable agent.

So glad to hear you have the ‘in processing’ status as well. So now it’s a waiting game. Do you think it’s not even worth it to check back with dealer until after Nov 14th 2023 production date for status in scheduling?

No dice - same run around to go back to the dealer. I'll wait a couple months and see if my name pops up, but if not, I'll make a fuss with the dealer and ask for their Ford Canada rep. Give them the whole spiel that this is my first Ford, first truck etc. and we are not starting off on a great foot after the price of the vehicle went up almost $3000.

Anyways, not the answer I wanted for now.

I just spoke with my salesman at Brock Ford ,He said they are imputing 23 orders now . And I should hear from them soon . Man O man its craze how a person could be happy about getting told ,we are going to let you get back in the lineup !

This is same with me, my dealer in Vancouver said I can rest assured knowing they are resubmitting the orders. Still, I would like to see that paper with my name on it. No talk of the $1500 either…. We need Ford Canada to be clear with us, it’s been nearly 1 year now since my original deposit.

Yes it is really too bad the little value Ford puts in its Canadian costumers .

Went last night to my dealer (Mike Knapp Ford in Welland ON) and he said they would put my order in this morning (Sept 22). Waiting on a confirmation call. Was also told my offer from Ford Canada was $1,750. Ordered a Lariat Luxury in Dec of 2021 so maybe that is why my offer is more than the $1,500 everyone else is mentioning. Hopefully, I will be signing the paperwork today. Not overly thrilled with the overall price increases and the reduction of standard features on the Lariat Luxury package. They removed the bedliner, remote start, tiedown kit, Copilot 360, Copilot 360 Advanced, and probably more stuff I'm forgetting from the Lariat Luxury package.

do u have papers from the dealership that says u had one on order ??? if so may be worth showing ford. As even though its a dealer it looks bad on them if they don't honor what u put a deposit on. May have to try the ford chat or something.

Got hold of the dealership sales manager and he confirmed that the order was input yesterday morning. Apparently the preview sheet order code can change when they actually submit the order, which is what happened with me - he gave me a new one (a letter followed by 3 digits, which is what the Ford customer care centre said it should be) - and it is now showing up as "In Processing" like the rest of you.

They also confirmed that we do not get emails like the U.S. The next outbound communication will be from Ford to your dealer when your order is scheduled for production.

Pretty Loaded 2023 Mav Lariat. Waited one year, might as well get what I want - not really in a rush. Not a fan of the loss in features of the Lux package, this is the exact same build minus the fender flairs I wanted.

Does anyone know if remote start is still included in the lux package?

Turns out I won't be signing paperwork today. Dealer told me he couldn't submit the order to get a bill of sale or something like that. Another day and more confusion from FORD. Can GM or anyone else quickly come up with a Maverick substitute so I don't have to deal with this BS anymore. The Santa Cruz doesn't count.

According to the price guide, it is a freestanding option this year (18R, CAD$300) on top of the Lariat Lux. Also - pushing 50K for a Maverick, that's impressive!
