Canada order banks and private offers?

Hi All,

I have a Ecoboost Lariat Lux 4K on order from early this year. Just stopped by my dealer and he doesn't have any info on what's going on. My Mav hasn't been scheduled but he claims there is still a chance and can't do anything until their system shows it's been rolled over to a 23. Doesn't know the pricing of the 23 and said he can't place orders. Not sure what to do. I don't NEED the truck right now as I have 2 cars but I was hoping to have it for this hunting season. I guess I'll just sit tight and hope for the best.

Seems like this is more of a Ford / Ford Canada problem than local dealers. They are in the dark just as much as we are

Did he actually check the order banks? As of yesterday morning the pricing was in and you could enter an order. He has to re-enter the 2022 order as a new 2023 order but put ask to put priority code 10 so your order is prioritized. I had to let my dealer know as they had no idea at all.

Mine confirmed that my order was entered and I called ford Canada and they confirmed the order is in processing but I have yet to receive any email confirmation from Ford.

yes I used the chat online function this morning ( the order was entered by dealer last night around 8pm) and provided order number and sales code and they told me that the order is 'in processing'. They didn't seem to know if I would get an official email from Ford like the US customers are saying is sent within 1 day after ordering.

I think another thing we should be watching is ,at what point does the refund get applied . If they take the new price add the 13% tax in Ontario get the total then subtract the 1500 . We will be losing a 195 bucks . I know that's not a lot of money but how many kicks in the ass do you want .

Is that $1,500 no matter the trim / package? I also heard that some options have been taken out of some trims / packages. My 22 order is a Velocity Blue which from what I hear is no longer a 23 colour. Second choice was Cyber Orange but now that's $800 more :/

did they say when the banks opened as no one has a clear time/date it happened for Canada. Also unlike the US we don't seam to get email confirmations. I never did for the 2022 either. sucks to be honest.

Thank you for letting us know about Canadian orders should not expect email from Ford Canada confirming the order. Did you ever get an email with build date or VIN sent by Ford or was that through your dealer?

My dealer had checked Sept 15th (on the announced 2023 ordering bank date opening) and on Sept 16th but no pricing was in. When he checked Monday Sept 19th the prices were in and able to order.

Parkway Ford in KW just called me to put in my order. Changed some of my options (XLT Lux hybrid) and signed the paperwork, but I hadn't seen the note about the $1500 holdover for 2022 orders. I ordered Feb 2022, but didn't see anything about $1500 discount on my forms.

Should I call them back to ask about it or is it just specific cases?

My Dealer Just contacted me (Parkway Ford) They Said they have my certificate. (1500.00) and they will be changing my order to a 2023. hopefully all goes well (fingers crossed)

@kevram can you expand a bit on this? My salesguy (also Parkway Ford) didn't mention a $1500 price certificate. Called him back and left a message lol
