So here’s something I noticed:

Like many of you, we ordered mid to late last year when the starting prices were lower too.

I could have sworn that the base price of the XL was $25,900 when I ordered but now Ford is selling the XL at $27,500!

My truck is NOW finally in production and I saw the sticker price and it lists 27500 along with increased prices of other options (I’m pretty sure hard roll up was $950 but is now $1150). Essentially, all the current prices are what is shown on the sticker which is not what I agreed to when I ordered in Nov.

Anyone else notice this when comparing their sticker price to their original agreement upon orderIng?

My sticker is very different than what I am paying on Monday. The dealership should honour you signed deal from last year. Mine did
glad to know!

I just picked mine up today, they honored the price we agreed to back in June. I hope you have the same experience.

I have a offer to purchase with deposit, I will be paying what I signed 10 months ago. Raising an order with ADM doesn't fly in Alberta.

The "updated" pricing always appears on the window stick & invoice. Dealer should be auto-reimbursed for the difference when the vehicle is sold to you. So you should get the price you originally agreed upon.

But that price is only for you. If you decided not to purchase, then they higher updated MSRP (and invoice cost to the dealer) would apply to anyone else who purchased that Maverick. That's why they always have the most up-to-date (=highest!) MSRP listed on the window stickers.

Remember, a signed offer entitles you to the original order pricing, unless you swapped/removed options on your order.

As a bonus, the dealer will give you the rate of what the financing was at the time of the signed offer. I believe mine was 2.99% when I ordered in November. Current rates are 4.49-4.99%.

Finally got in to see the finance guy yesterday and yes, the prices on the window sticker where higher than initial order prices, but there was a rebate line on the paperwork where all the adjustments were accounted for. I tried to do the quick math and it seemed accurate. Picking up Monday!

Finance guy was great. His motto was "your wish is my command". Zero pressure to buy or keep any add-ons. Apparently the trucks come with wheel locks for $99, which I didn't order so he dropped those as well. Only odd thing was they didn't seem to factor my deposit into the calculations properly, so they're just going to refund it to my card. Anyway, overall positive experience. I was expecting a struggle like so many of the stories on here.

As as aside, I passed a Ford carrier on my way to work his morning (403 westbound in Mississauga) with two Mavs on it. Velocity Blue and Rapid Red. Lucky day for two people!
