True or not, I asked my dealer about Stock orders available to dealers, after mine was placed and confirmed tonight. He said all orders are closed. No dealer stock for 2023. All orders have been filled for 2023 Mavericks as of today for hybrids and tomorrow for Ecoboosts. I am sure Tim will let us know.

Unfortunately, Ford Chat can't confirm that the order was done properly. The only thing that Ford Chat can do is confirm that an order was placed (they can't confirm if a COVP/ROVP was done for that order).
Can you verify this information?

I just got off the phone with ford customer Service and they told me to call my dealer because my 22 rollover order was messed-up.
I replied "I didn't order a 22 Maverick!"

The bad part about it is that I had called my salesman one hour ago and challenged him on the "No email = No COVP" thing, and he said "No, it all looks good, I received the order approved notification".
So somebody's full of crap!
I'll try to handle this tomorrow. Thank God I switched my order to an ecoboost. I think Hybrid orders close at 10 eastern tonight.

I got my email from Ford, but they ordered an XL and I wanted an XLT.

Nobody at the dealership is answering.

Should I be able to change that later?

No, you should drive to dealer immediately and get it corrected.

I have talked to Ford Chat and Ford Marketing MANY times over the last year. As long as you gave them a valid Order Number and Dealer Number then they should have told you something along the lines of "Unscheduled: Clean" or "Unscheduled: Unclean". If it is Unclean (or what-ever term they use when it is not Clean), then something is missing or something has not been reviewed yet.

They have absolutely no way of knowing if you had a MY22 order so something does not make sense with that statement. MY23 orders are in no way linked with MY22 orders in their system (they have no way of seeing a Private Offer). Where it may get confusing is if the dealer re-used an Order Number for the MY23. In that case I have no idea on how they would know if they are pulling up the MY22 order or the MY23 order.

No. You are not allowed to change that later (that is the "PEP" comment in the dealer e-mail). That has to be correct today. You can change color, add a trailer hitch, etc., but not change from an XL to an XLT. Also, you are way more likely to have an XLT built this year than an XL (which is limitied to 15%)

Very stressful Finnster! I hope it gets worked out. Whoever thought it would be so hard to order a truck....

I guess that I'm NOT getting a 2023 Maverick - My local dealer says the 2023 cannot be ordered yet (as of 9/20). I tried another dealer who placed an order, but will not verify the order has been submitted. Neither has admitted to hearing about order banks closing. Even though I've owned over 20 Ford/Mercuries in my life, it may be time to switch to another brand. :-(

UPDATE:

I called a 3rd dealer - zero issues. Took my order over the phone, sent a copy of the order summary and I received an email from Ford saying my order has been confirmed!

For you, and anyone else a similar questions, just go to Ford chat. If there's any question in your mind, for peace of mind just go to Ford chat. I hopped on at 5:15 last night, took about 15 minutes of waiting, 5 minutes of chatting, and I have confirmation my orders good and all I need to do is wait. Super easy guys
Thank you

I am watching fordvideoguy's episode 58 live tonight and he said that once the Maverick order bank closes, no more orders can be entered - but dealers will have until 10-5-22 to provide COVP for the entered orders!
