Exactly, I like my BedRug in the Ranger and the Mav will have one as well.
Have you researched Bedrug yet? I'm getting a Luxury Package and the spray-in comes with it. I was still thinking about putting a floor only Bedrug in, no walls. Have you heard, will they be making it for the Maverick?

From the linked article:

Option 2: Spray-In Bedliner

We also considered a spray-in bedliner, which is much neater, durable and unquestionably the choice for people who are going to put their truck to hard work. Our use for the F-150 is more casual, which didn’t make the spray-in approach a necessity, especially in light of its downsides, which start with higher price. This bedliner type — a durable, textured paint — is sprayed in only after the entire inner box surface is prepped, which is to say sanded down to the primer or bare metal if done properly. It’s a time and labor-intensive process worthy of the higher price.

But it has downsides apart from the higher price. One is that the surface is so rough, it can feel like 60-grit sandpaper. So it might keep cargo from sliding around, but it also can, well, sand anything that slides on it. If you’re carting a load of gravel, a spray-in bedliner can’t be beat. But if you’re helping friends move their furniture, you might spend a lot of time padding it to protect it from the truck — or apologizing afterward.

Because you’re dying to know how it does in the kneeling test, it’s exactly like an unlined bed — but with sandpaper.

See that is blowing it out of proportion. LineX never damaged anything I put on it and neither did Fords. Didn't hurt my knees and after 2 knee surgeries per knee mine tend to be on the sensitive side. That statement is no different than the for sale on TV ads that makes chopping am onion seem impossible

I will be waiting for them to produce this for the Maverick.

I have ordered the "Bed Mat - Removable" on my Maverick order so when this is available I will order it without the mat which should save some money.

Guess I don't understand how they will make this. The Maverick has all of the special notches for bed accessories. How will they make this without eliminating these notches and without making the notches so small even a 2x4 won't fit? This seems like it will look nicer than a drop in but you'll possibly be losing functionality. Oh yeah, and what about the cubby on the passenger side? How are they going armor that without losing space?

Just seems like a bridge too far to me. But hey, it's YOUR truck.

I'm worried about water and gunk getting under bedrug. Can you speak to that?

What video? I was shown a link to an article about an F150. I don'r see a video. Besides, how can they have a video for the Maverick when no one has one yet? They won't even allow the video's of test drives.

I had a BedRug in a Tacoma with a SnugTop, it was pretty slick. I loved it. Not sure how well it would work with the FlexBed though. Seems like you'd lose a lot of "Lego" functionality.
