2022 hybrid is currently $21k plus destination and an Ecoboost now adds about $500.

Those private offers are either an indication of the new 2023 prices OR Ford included some bonus cash in there for the wait.

Either way rolled over orders are winning.
With the build that I have, at the current price online I am at $1,900 over already. If this is the final price, then its a win for rollovers. If they raise the price again or increase package price at all, then no its not a win for rollovers.

Not to mention, it sounds like all unscheduled 22 orders have to submit a new 23 order, giving up any financing rates that were previously locked in. Also, if the rumors are true, there won't be any special financing rates for the 23 Maverick, leaving some customers seeing at least a 2% increase in rates...

Yeah, I was hoping for the 1.9% for 60 and it will probably be 2.9% or 3.9%. I have an order already scheduled and was going to walk away and get my second one which will be a 23, but I have to see whats new and if its worth it.

The information about the private offer amounts is out. By the way, they are not valid with a 2023 Maverick Tremor. Also, these are going out to those with an Unscheduled 2022 order with COVP approval.

Hybrid $2750
Ecoboost $1750

They also mentioned that the 2023 replacement order must be placed by 10/31/22. Makes it sound like they will be requiring new orders will need to be submitted for everyone instead of the 22 orders being transferred over to a 2023 order. I guess we will find out soon.

These ended up being a little more than I expected!

This is important:

" *The value of the each eligible customer’s private offer varies based on whether the customer ordered a 22MY Maverick Hybrid or EcoBoost Gas model, but can be applied to either a 23MY Maverick Hybrid or EcoBoost Gas model (excl. Tremor). "

This differs from some of the other transition offers Ford has given, where the offer was tied to the type of 23 vehicle ordered.

They won't kill all price protection and lump it into this single Private Offer. My theory is rolled over orders are still price protected against the December increases. I'm not sure about the July increases but either way I highly doubt a rolled over 23 will be paying more than their confirmed 22 ordering price.

No, this private offer is in lieu of price protection on the 22 orders. The 23 orders are "new" orders.....the private offer is going out to people who have ROVPed unscheduled 22MY orders.

One more data point (or possibly just confusion on the part of the very nice customer service rep this morning...) - I just called Ford customer service for one last status check prior to pinging my dealer. She confirmed that I was still "In Order Processing, Unscheduled", and that meant I'd be rolling over to a MY23.

She stated that the order banks would open 9/15/22, and also mentioned that they expected them to only remain open for a couple weeks, and that would be the end of the retail order banks for MY23.

I asked about the private offer and whether I should be expecting an email from Ford, and she stated the private offer would be handled at the time of delivery (rather than at time of order) via SmartVincent. She said that the private offers are sometimes sent via email or other times via direct postal mail.

@fordvideoguy and/or @KevCuRaoi - is this consistent with your experience of the process for other private offers?

She also noted that all rolled over MY22 orders would take precedence over new MY23 orders. I guess we'll see...

I will believe it when I see the offer in writing from Ford . Everything that was reported to happen changed to something else . Tims head must be spinning I know mine is .

I imagine that incentive will cover a portion of the price increase and a little bonus on top. I guess we'll see once the 23' guides are out which has got to be soon right? right!??!

I imagine this includes the already added $1000 increase in base MSRP since that would be the way to price protect rollover orders. All unbuilt orders were made before that increase since it happened five months or so after the order banks closed. I suppose we might have more information soon.

Thanks Tim!

@fordvideoguy is this a flat rate that is not considering the package changes as you mentioned in the past?
Also when you say not valid with tremor package, what does it mean. That if I add the package I will be entitled to zero discount.....
Correct on both. Private offer is not good with the Tremor Package and those are flat doesn't matter what was added to the hybrid or Ecoboost.

We'll have to see how this affects our Chapman orders. Hopefully they don't tell us we either the percent below invoice on 23MY pricing or the private offer amount and not both. If they do that, then I will probably walk away and just take my 22MY that is coming.

So that means the hybrid is going up by 2,750 then? So MSRP will be 23,705 xl with destination? And 23,180 xl for ecoboost with destination?

25,110 for xlt hybrid

25,545 for xlt Eco
+ 4K if you wanted tremor would be

29,545 + tax etc so like 31kish ?

Lariat hybrid 29,610
Lariat Eco 29,045
If you wanted tremor package 33,045 . So if you wanted co pliot as well if it’s the same price would be 33,695 with destination? Or is this extra incentive all together ?
We don't have prices yet but I think they will be what we are seeing on the website currently for 2022.
