2.0 eco boost lariat tirm. The low washer fluid level indicator just came on and off randomly while I was driving. Sometimes it also sends an alert to the ford app. I refilled the reservoir and it was nearly full. It looks like a faulty sensor or software issue. Does anyone have a similar issue?

Good morning! Can you send us a private message with your VIN and Ford dealer info? I can take a look into your sensor concern on my end.

Literally had the same thing happen to me yesterday... Came on and then stopped appearing after I turned the car off and back on again.

Mine did that this last weekend too. Hybrid Lariat. It was the first and only time. I figured maybe a sensor somewhere got out of whack since I'd just driven up a mountain.

I got this warning recently when the truck was stopped facing downhill. Once it was on a level surface it went away after a few minutes but I never got a FordPass notification.

Happened a few days in a row at the same location so I finally got more fluid to put in. Turns out it was practically empty even though I rarely used the washer fluid. Seems like Ford barely filled the tank originally as it took close to an entire gallon until it topped off.

Doesn’t seem to be OP’s issue though if it keeps coming back after topping off. I’d take it to the dealer and have them check it out.

I have the exact same situation. I can understand the level sensor might be triggered on a slope. It should not happen after topping off the reservoir.

IM the ford guy above and call your dealer. Could be something really simple like a loose connector.
