You dont need it to add the keyless b entry module.

How does someone find out what setting controls what???
Can someone show me an example of how people find the codes and what they affect?

I want to find out if I can add the factory Keyless B-Pillar to my XL Hybrid and enable it along with the Sync menu.

I did it on my '18 F-150 when I got it.
If you have done it already on another truck then how about getting it started on the Maverick so we can all gain from your experience? I bet if you do everything you did on an '18 F-150 then it will mostly be the same thing just with Maverick parts.

Because I don't know what FORSCAN codes to modify!! Hints the question... How does one go about finding out what options control what in the Modules as published?

And I was asking if anybody opened the door trim and looked for a connector!!

I thought the lock panel sticks on and gets coded from the vehicle without Forscan?

Why is this the most difficult part for people to understand? I am not trying to be mean but...

Did you click on the link that says factory Keyless B-Pillar
Because it shows you I am talking about the XLT/Lariat versions where the keypad comes with the pillar and is ONE PIECE.

Did you click on my link that says I did it on my '18 F-150 when I got it.
Because it is pretty clear what I am asking for.

There is a forum on forscan.org where you can search for the codes to do most everything on the Maverick and other Ford Products. I believe you need to create a user account, you can get a free two week trial account, and search it for the codes necessary.

I just performed the search on forscan.org Maverick forums and found nothing about the keyless entry system codes. I have a keyless entry system on mine so if I can figure out what the code segments are I will post them here.

I don't think YOU understand. The Ebay link is to a Trim Kit with WIRELESS keypad. Not an entire B-Pillar.

The title of the Ebay listing say "wireless" for God's sake.......

The keypad, unless I am really mistaken, is WIRELESS on all models. There is no connector and no code needed to be modified. It is just a glorified wireless keyfob, of which you are given two when you buy the truck.

The link to the EBAY listing is both the plastic trim and the WIRED keypad. I did this on my F150.

Look at my other link for the f150 forum where I actually installed it. Here is what I ordered for my F150. FACTORY TRIM WITH KEYPAD

You might want to contact them (the Ebay seller) to confirm. Since it says wireless right in the title of the listing. Is that a photo from what you already bought (you took the photo), or was that from the listing? Either way.....I got nothing more of help for you since I am still........95% sure all the keypads are wireless. I could be wrong. Totally possible.

Edit.....I now see you said that was a photo from your F-150. So......why are you so stuck on claiming the F-150 keypad means anything about how they did it for the Maverick? Other than them both being Ford products.

Actually both of you are incorrect. That listing is for the Putco black platinum metal dressup piece. It doesn't have the key pad. It's just a shiny metal piece (like the tailgate letters) that sticks on, but that one has the cutout for the key pad.

So if OP is wanting a door pillar with keypad to retrofit one that isn't the part they're looking for. Not sure why that listing mentions coming with a wireless pad, but it's this part on Ford Accessories.

After consulting the factory service manual, the BCM is the unit with the codes. You will need not only the keyless entry keypad but also the antenna since the BCM checks for the keyfob. and not just for RKE. I am not sure but it appears that it may be that there is more than one BCM for the Maverick because there are a lot of tests for BCM without Keyless Entry Module and all seem to be different than with Keyless Entry.

The XL trim does not come with a PIN card for the Keyless entry code because it does not have Keyless entry but retrieving the code is possible a few ways:
1) https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...less-entry-code-for-vehicles-with-smart-keys/

2) (which I haven't tried but saw in the forum somewhere)

I don't know if it would be just as easy as buying the Trim w/keypad and installing it for 2 reasons:
1) I do not know if the harness exists but is just not used.

2) If the harness is there is it just plug and play or are there some FORSCAN changes because the vehicle menus do not have the same options for the Door codes like my F150 and I am assuming the maverick XLT and Lariat models do have the menu options for adding door codes.

If I take an XL vin and put it in the Key Code lookup it says I can get a pin sent to me.
If you visit:
https://www.motorcraftservice.com/keycode/keycodelookup
and enter
3FTTW8E98NRA87347 (not my vin)

It says I can get a code.

So I guess there is a code in the BCM
