I'm actuality kind of glad to know the Pirelli won't last long. I want to upgrade my tires if/when my Maverick ever shows up. Was going to do it right away but maybe I'll just burn through those Pirellis first. Won't take long from the looks of it.

I would order the Falken Wildpeaks option for $800 current in a heartbeat along with the FX/4 package but then I will not the black wheels I want. Hoping they cheapen that option in '23 and just put the Falkens on the black rims.

Our company had to start replacing bulk purchased Continentals at 10k miles on mostly street driven Transit 250's. I don't expect the Procontact TX tires to last me more than 20k.

My ultimate goal is four Costco Michelin X-Ice Snow tires ($715) on steelies for November-March and all seaon or fuel savers for the other nine months on the factory XLT wheels. Shopping for discarded steelies won't be a problem.

Yep, that's what I'm running too. Took me about 1000-2000 miles to come to the conclusion that the Pirellis just weren't gonna do it for me. They're absolutely not AT tires.

The one thing they got going for them is they're way quieter than any AT, but that's to be expected.

I replaced with 30 miles on the OD - Highway tires - No clue how they got an AT rating -

What pizza company do you work for?
Back in 2005 I delivered for Foxs Pizza for most of that year in 89 5spd Beretta Gt. I mostly put whatever I could get cheap in a performance tire. But I replaced the fronts every 2 months and moved them to the rear. The rears would look like that when I was done. Brake pads lasted about the same or less. Eventually lost my license in 3 counties and 1 municipality(I kept applying for work priveledges:LOL::ROFLMAO::devilish:) after they finally impounded me, I took what I had left and moved to Hawaii where I had to hitchhike for the first year!

Curious. Well, I was planning on getting Falken Wildpeaks sooner than later anyway. Guess it'll be more sooner than later, eh?
Got these the second week that I had my Maverick. Pirelli’s just aren’t good in this case, definitely not for FX4. Falkens Look great and they ride nice plus incredible grip.
