I ordered 10/08/21. I was told by the dealer this past Thursday(yesterday 25 Aug) I had a week of 10/10 build date. I called the hotline today to ask for my VIN since my dealer won’t give it to me. I was told I had a week of 10/17 build. One day later and I’ve slipped a week.

hybrid xlt lux package cp360 -a51

I am a bit confused, in the tracking website my vehicle accessories shows pieces of the xlt lux package (power drivers, sibl, bed tie downs) but the packages at this time doesn’t show Lux package. I do not have a window sticker yet.

Sure seems like a lot of October hybrids are getting scheduled. Those without dates keep your fingers crossed if you want a 2022. You've got a few more weeks of scheduling yet.

Also interesting to see at least a few with luxury packages on them. I dropped my lux package to try and get scheduled and it worked but I will always wonder if perhaps I could have gotten my XLT with the luxury package on it.

Chatted with Ford Friday afternoon. No change. Still Priority Code 10 - Unscheduled Clean. :(

Looks like I'll be a 2023 more and more.

perhaps I could have gotten my XLT with the luxury package on it.
You could have, yes.

I never understood dropping options that you really wanted to speed up the process. I know not everyone is the same, but without the luxury package the Maverick became a vehicle I wasn't even interested in.

HI,

Why won't your dealer give you YOUR VIN? That sounds weird.
I have read (on here) several people saying their luxury package does not say 'luxury package' anymore but all of the items are on there. How do you see the individual items, under the link in the tracker that says, "view modules"?

This only works when they have available resources to build what you want. This is a different world today. Just like Ford shifting to online order in the future. What if some peeps still want to go to the dealers to haggle? It’s a national pastime for some. One must adapt to change or be ceased to exist.

I believe it is a way to control all info to manage the experience. Like an abusive relationship. My dealer experience isn’t what I’d describe as good. Not bad, but not good. My assigned salesman has been difficult to reach and minimal in getting me any info. They didn’t include my email on the original order. They weren’t knowledgeable about the options. I’m waiting for last minute shenanigans when I go to pick up the truck.

Yeah that did not mean anything to the person I got on chat. I asked for "secondary status" and they said "Your vehicle is in production, that means it is being built at one of our factories. No new details yet".
yeah thats the same response i got with the CHAT on Fords website. Mine is also- in production last week.. So i guess i am just happy its in production and wait a little longer for it to be BUILT and shipped. Fingers crossed LOL.
