Did something that I thought I would never do with my hybrid…and I kinda liked it!

Drove a short in town trip (7 miles) home all the way in Sport Mode! I normally get 40-48mpg on this trip but thought what the heck. I was surprised I still managed 36mpg…but man was she peppy and fun!

I'm soooo jealous! That's awesome. I need to find someone local that can unleash sport and eco on my FX4 XLT. Hell I'll buy the Forscan.

I installed the the last prime day deal that was delivered. I still need to install the lights I got for the bed. I am hoping to at least get a plan together for them this weekend. I need to settle on how to route the wires and keep them hidden

Got wifey's windows tinted today. I've been doing this since my 1st vehicle, in 1979 but this was the 1st time I've had them use "ceramic" tint. Looks good so far. Can't wait to see it fully dried, which won't take long in the 109 degree temps we've been having. :-/

Finally had a free weekend to apply the Adam’s Graphene Ceramic coating that I picked up on Amazon. Super easy to use and much more protective than any spray ceramic that is on the market. This stuff can go on all the paint, glass, plastic trim, and wheels. I even coated my Rokblokz mud-flaps. They advertise 7 years of protection but if I get 5 out of it I’ll be happy.

So I pilfered this post from one of my motorcycle groups. It’s fun to see what everyone is up to. (Other than that poor SOB whose cousin totaled his)

today I got the front sides tinted to match factory

also added the tailgate assist.

Mine is imaginary at this point. I ordered a ceramic coating kit. If I had a vin I would get a lot more.

Finished my dog seat extender thing. Got two big dogs who need to adjust to a non-suv.

It's basically a couple of boxes with storage space and a padded bench in 3 pieces so it comes out easily. I'm covering it all with a hammock style seat cover but still wanted a somewhat matchy vinyl top. (Matchy to doors...)
