Well the battery was at 12.11 this morning. Something is taking it down.

Also got the deep sleep message even though I have send to Ford diagnostics off.

I would wonder if having drained the battery multiple times previous it doesn't screw with the battery management system's estimation of the battery health/capacity and how much it needs to recharge.

Was having the same issues with the overhead lights. Even the turn signals were not audible! I used a trickle charger for a few days and everything came back.

Another thing you can try is the Battery Sensor Reset shown on page 311 in owners manual.

I do not have any deep sleep messages showing in my hybrid dash and mine has never failed to start. I have a voltage meter in my front PowerPoint which displays voltage (of course). I do NOT know at which voltage the HVB recharge of the 12v battery is initiated and may (probably will) depend on what battery it thinks is installed. It is implied since the installation procedure requires 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep mode with doors locked and ignition off to learn the state of charge of new battery. The procedure may also have to be done sometimes if 12v is charged with non vehicle charger. This implies that in putting on charger perhaps a surge or something affected the management system and the 8 hour procedure has to repeated to verify which type of 12v battery charge procedure to use. I have seen on my monitor 12.1v-12,8v (my monitor is only accurate +/-0.1v) and I have opened doors and are in seat so even before I push button some draw has been initiated so actual did of battery could be somewhat higher since it is open circuit reading. I do not have Ford pass on my phone the wife has it on hers. The only interface I have had with it is once when wife said "I think I just started truck" so I had to go out to garage to turn it off. Back to battery. I see where it mentions disconnecting negative cable for long term storage without mentioning what is considered long term (???). So I would expect when it is reconnected the 8hour procedure would have to be initiated. FYI when I saw 12.1v on my voltage monitor I went back and checked later (do not remember how long) and battery showed 12.5v so charging had occured. I do not know when vehicle off maintenance charging occurs and what parameters are used. Ideally when door is opened a sos I'd HVB and 12v battery should display. Has anyone seen description of the battery management system.

So I have turned off the options to send data to Ford, I’ve disconnected my Homelink, unplugged my dash cam, and have fully charged the battery. We’ll see how it looks in the morning.

Lights still don’t work when truck is off and I open my door though.

Edit: I still received the deep sleep message and I have the two options off to send data to Ford. Battery is reading 12.4 now so I truly believe there is not much else I can do. Hopefully I’m not left stranded.
Ford had me remove the truck from the Ford Pass App and told me not to add it back until they figured out the issue. no problems since. Mine was also dead and had zero power.

Okay I’m going to try that and the battery sensor reset tonight. I should just do one at a time but I don’t care at this point.

Thats good news. Not sure if you already have a portable jump charger but I would highly recommend one. Costco has one in store for $59.

Okay guys, while watching the games today, I got the dreaded "Deep Sleep Mode" message on my Ford app. Went out and even though no dome lights or any power showing to the dash, I started the Maverick with the key. Remote everything on the app was disabled. My Maverick only has 2800 miles on it. Planning on calling the dealer in the morning so just want to make sure I have all the info from others such as print outs from their dealers as to how they diagnosed this. Assuming the problem is my hybrid harness like the others. I drove the vehicle 200 miles yesterday so there should be no reason for the battery to be discharged. I know there is no recall but is there an actual TSB for this anywhere? Also should the Maverick not start in the morning, I have a portable jump box to use. I assume I treat this as a normal jump and connect to the positive jump point under the red cap under the hood and anywhere I can ground. Thanks for any guidance and I still don't get why FORD doesn't stand up and issue a recall. I will keep their lack of doing so in mind when I shop for my next vehicle. How about it @Ford Motor Company

Welcome to the "Dead Maverick Group"

Facing the windshied, sounds like you know where the red jump cap is, look to the right all the way and you will see the negative jump location, no cap.

Put a multi meter on the under rear seat 12v battery then try the posts under the hood. Our experience is 12v at the battery, 3v at the jump points under the hood.

Call the dealers around you, ask for the Service Manager, ask if he/she has heard of this issue. Hopefully they have and can get you in and out quick with a repair.

Good luck to you...................................

Thanks, do you know if there is a TSB?
