I'll take this. BMW puts this under the car beneath a plastic panel. A total pain if you need to get neutral. This looks great!

Manual park release cable, not park break. Basically like putting the transmission in neutral.

If you have no power and can't shift it into neutral for towing, you can pull that to free the transmission from Park.

I wonder how many tow truck guys know about this.

As long as I never have to turn on the video screen for anything, I am good to go.

In New Jersey, it is illegal to pump your own gas. Anything special to tell the gas pumper guys about the Maverick gas cap ?

No, the hybrid has a fuel cover release button in the cab, but if the battery is dead there is an emergency pull by the wheel well. See thread below. Don't know why you need to fill up gas if you have a dead battery but it's there in any case.

Probably the same reason they have braille instructions at the bank drive through, someone overthought it.

Don't think it has a gas cap. If your asking about the pull tab that's only when something goes wrong. Do not have mine yet so do not know how to open the door.
