Mine built 6/18 Whew!
Mine built/shipped this week. My vin shows no recall-also checked Ford Pass. Guessing you checked your vin also. Myself and others reported going in-out of production in the first week of June. Wonder if this was possible reason.

I hope the guys at Ford drilling the holes in the pan aren’t the same ones that drilled holes in the gas tanks.
drilling blind is drilling blind whether its a worker in Mexico drinking tequilla or a ford guy drinking his bud light while working on your vehicle.

with some luck the drill bit won't completely pierce the engine block

You may want to check it again. Earlier mine was just like you posted but now the recall is showing.

Since they will be adding holes, it would awesome if they would locate the holes so you could drain your oil and change the filter without removing the shield! @Ford Motor Company

I'm picking up my Mav now with the recall fixed.

They "removed two grill shutters (or 4 blinds) and drilled some holes. New spots for rust to form. I asked the to look at the EV wire harness, they said the did and it "looks fine".

CA has a new car two day return policy. Oh well, I'll be stuck with y'all in a couple hours time.

Wife won't let me park in the garage now.

I also regret not adding a trailer hitch and wire harness. Option was $100? I don't remember. I tought it came with the hitch but not the harness.

Now its $330 part+ $130 labor +$125 wire harness.

Sorry if I'm coming off negative.
Yep, the hitch was a great buy as an option. Get pretty expensive with after market. I made not actually ever use it but still a good buy at $100 and maybe someone else can use it if I ever sell it.

"A big class-action lawsuit has been filed against Ford Motor company over its EcoBoost engine. Taking in cars produced from 2013 to 2019 it alleges engine coolant is leaking into cylinders."
Well thats perfect. Cooler cylinders. Sounds like an upgrade to me 🙃🫣

What does "active grille shutters" even mean?
Behind the front grille are vanes that open/close kind of like a wall vent for your home HVAC system. They restrict air flow to the engine to warm up faster or open up to cool down faster. Atkinson engines by design take longer to heat up since they generate less heat, so the active grille shutters do wonders especially in the winter.

So, will the removal of slats in the active grill shutters affect the time it takes for hybrid Maverick to heat up in the winter for northern owners??

For me not to worry....9 months now and still no notice about a build date or anything. Hopefully they have this issue worked out now.

Maple loving Canadian here, confirmed that my Maverick needs the recall too. Only place listed is on the Ford.ca recall site.. Not on my Ford Pass app nor on the NHTSA site. And for those who checked earlier, better check again. Recall appeared after rechecking.

Do you know when yours was built? Was it outside the 2/3/2021-6/8/2022 window on the recall?

I'm asking because I am wondering if the "2/3/2021" date is a typo.
